GENERAL INFORMATION InTechOpen
The recommended manuscript length is between 14 to 20 pages. InTechOpen can exceptonally accept shorter or longer
manuscripts, provided that the scientic content is of high value.
The page number includes the main text with all of its content (abstract, keywords, afliaions, references) and all
addiional materials, like fgures, tables, diagrams, etc.
The table below ofers a rough page count formula for the text-based porton of the chapter.

*This page number is valid as a reference only when your manuscript is writen by following our formatng guidelines.
Be aware that these numbers are rough estmates only. Please treat them as such.
Note: Figures and tables will inevitably increase the total page count.
The total page count can be calculated only when your accepted manuscript has gone through the technical editng process.
Technical editng ensures that the manuscript is formated according to professional academic publishing standards.
The total page count will be communicated to you by the Publishing Process Manager as soon as the informaton becomes
available.
Addiional page charges will be applied on a page level basis for all chapters longer than 20 pages.
The additonal page charge is in the amount of 40 EUR + VAT (if applicable) per every additonal page.

*Use the whole space of all pages, do not leave free space.
We recommend using the MS Word Template, but either opton is acceptable.

The template can be opened in any Ofce suite (Microsoft Ofce, LibreOfce, OpenOfce, etc.). All the required page
formatng optons have been preset, and all the necessary writng details are included in the Template itself. Simply follow
the instructons and insert your text where prompted.
LaTeX submissions are also accepted. The LaTeX source ile(s) have to be accompanied by a PDF ile generated from the
source. A LaTeX template is not currently available.

Authors wishing to include igures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to
obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format.
