What is poverty?

Poverty is about not having enough money to meet basic needs including food, clothing and
shelter.

What is the Goal?

This goal was born with intention to end poverty in all its forms everywhere by 2030, define its as
800 million people living a less than $1,25 a day.

This goal only not will serach end with the existing poverty but also will take actions to improve
health and education of million of childrens.

What are the causes?

Around the world abound the poverty, this isn’t a secret, but are the causes more common of this.
Some of them according United Nations are unemployment, social exclusión, and high
vulneravility of certain population. However These aren´t the only causes of this. Among others
we can find:

• Natural Disasters
• Corruption
• Socio economic- disparities
• Lack of acces to education
• Lack of infrastucture

What are the effects?

In agreement of effect that the poverty take in the differents aspecto in the people´s liuve, we can
sort this implication as:

• On education: Without effective sanitation in their home, childrens are specially

vulnerable to life threatening intestinal infection.
• On Crime: People who live below sifficient economic opportunity are forced to commit
vandalism actions.
• Lack of Education: Children who are exposed to extreme levels of poverty have difficult
with cognitive development and speech.

Poverty in Africa:
Africa is considered the poorest continent on earth. Almost every second person living in the state
of sub-saharan Africa lives below the poverty line. However in the last years The United Nations
have developed a plan to rid poverty. They want better:

✓ The life expectancy at birth

✓ The average school attendence period
✓ The per capita income

What is our solution?

The best way to start with rid poverty in the world is trough the gubernamental institutions, they
can donate more money to por class, ridding the major of Budget to war and political expenses.
This money can be invested to better the way in the people live.
