Our queens are a dark British bee bred by ourselves, alternatively we

All the hives in our range are made from Western Red Cedar, one of the most beautiful woods in the world, light yet very durable, ideally suited to the
UK weather, we also supply some hives National and Langstroth in a Softwood option as not all of our customers are prepared to pay the higher price
for Cedar, indeed on the continent and America most of the hives are made from Softwood, we ourselves have some Softwood bee hives which are
more than thirty years old which Leo and Leslie used to use when they were beekeeping.
