Primary objectives
Working on Automotive / Asset Finance Products:
• Functional Software Testing.

• Ability to understand and test a range of WCG products.

• Good business analysis skills to quickly understand requirements.


Requirements of the role

• Experience configuring and running functional automated software


tests.

• Experience working directly with internal product development teams.

• Working with project teams to assist with configuring and running in


automated test routines with a range of WCG products using Java and
Selenium using Serenity Framework.

• Working with a team of software developers, business analysts to test


new releases with enhanced functionality, adapting existing tests and
approaches to take those changes into account.

• Strong background in testing with the ability to plan, design, script and
execute test cases and its automation.

• Well-developed analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work


well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience of working effectively in an Agile team.
• Deep understanding and experience of best-practices relating to all
aspects of functional and non-functional testing.

Key Skills
• Experience in automation testing, building automation frameworks and writing
test automation scripts with knowledge in Selenium Webdriver and Java
using Serenity Framework.

• Experience using SQL to interrogate SQLServer, Oracle databases.

• Experience working with SoapUI and XML messages.

• Experience working with Jenkins CI, JIRA, Adaptavist Test Management


(desirable).

• Good Understanding and testing of Web Front End Technologies like


JavaScript, and HTML structures.

• Good understanding of source control tools (SVN/GIT)


• Knowledge of AngularJS, Protractor, Maven and Charles Proxy an advantage.

• Knowledge of BDD/Cucumber an advantage.

• ISEB - ISTQB Advanced qualification preferable.
