Graphs of monthly sales, sales by product, sales by geography
Market Research: What market research did you perform and what data was
collected? What conclusions were drawn from your research? Can you graph your
data?
Target Markets: Who is your target market? Did it change? If so, why? Where are you looking
to concentrate on any particular market or geography?
What is its highest selling product?
In January our target market was definitely more focused towards the trade show and other
companies in VE. We provided new sales and deals to try and appeal to this target market.
Product: We sell bagels/
its most profitable product? What changes if any are being made to the product line
and/or product mix?
The most profitable product is the plain catering package. We have been implementing more
packages that are on the more expensive side that are more targeted towards the trade show
and VE students that want to make a deal with us.
Marketing and Advertising Plan:
Describe in detail your advertising plan for the past month in detail? What
promotions/advertisements did you have and why?
What were you hoping to gain from them? How did those campaigns affect sales?
How did you measure the success or failure of your advertisement campaign?
We advertise our product by creating several campaigns, ads, promoting through our website,
and now we are even finishing up a commercial. We have made promotions and discounts to
further our product in the market and grab the attention of consumers. We were hoping these
campaigns would bring in new customers and generate us some sales but we are still moving
slowly when it comes to sales. We believe we have failed so far in marketing our product and
we need to advertise our product even more so that we can bring in more sales. We want to
greatly increase in our sales next month and we need our department to work even harder to
make that happen.
Corporate Website: We had a promotion for the superbowl, we gave a 10% promo code to
attempt to boost sales. We also made some minor mechanics updates. We also added new
options in the shop including new packages and bulk options.
Internet Sales Plan: What actually happened versus what you had planned?
Include graph.
Brand Awareness: How did you make your customers aware of your brand? What
image did you create in your customer’s mind?
We promote our product to the public using twitter and instagram. We post any upcoming deals,
trade shows, news on our product, etc. This month the trade show really made our business
more well known within the VE community and winning a prize and being in the top 20 for booth
design definitely help-ed our company grow and obtain more customers.
Risk: What risk is expected or was expected? Did those turn out to be your actual
risks? How did you handle them?
The risks we took were getting little or no sales. We are a new company in this highly
competitive industry and it is going to be hard to kickstart our business. It turned out that we had
barely any sales which causes us to put all of our focus on marketing our product so we can
make some profit. We are going to heavily market our product to ensure that people can see our
product on the market.
Strategic Direction: Discuss plans for future growth such as new products, etc.
One future growth plan we can create is that we can add spreads to our product line, mainly
cream cheese and butter, but we can send out a survey as well and see what other people
would like to see in our company and other products they would want us to provide.
