CSELD Portfolio

1. Present the research question/s of your Dissertation thesis.

2. Give a list of keywords based on which you are searching for information related to your thesis (min. 5).
3. Present the list of resources used:
(a) For related literature: give a list of possible references (articles, studies, books, online books,
etc) – at least 10 such references, out of which at least 5 articles from important journals in the field of your
thesis. Write these references in the Harvard or APA style, just like in the official Reference list of your
thesis.
(b) For data: briefly present how you get your data for the Dissertation thesis – can you download it
from official sources? If yes, present the exact data sources that you can use and the variables that you can
download from each of these – with the appropriate links. If no, present how you gather the necessary data
for your research. In the case of a questionnaire, briefly present 10 of the questions you intend to use.
Construct the References list by putting together (a) and (b).
4. Choose one of the articles from 3(a) and present it (max 1 page):
-what is the research question of the article?
- what is the methodology employed?
- what are the results? Are they according to similar literature from the field?
- what is the relevance of this article for your thesis and how can you introduce the article in the
thesis?
- extract at least 5 studies from the article’s bibliography that you can use in your research.
5. Briefly present the methodological approach that you use in your Dissertation thesis – is it qualitative or
quantitative; what data analysis methods are suitable for your research; do you need any data analysis
software?
6. Using free software specialized in plagiarism, like [Link]
[Link] [Link] TurnitIn etc, introduce a part of your Dissertation
thesis and download the report. Analyze the Similarity Report. If it returns a value >20%, revise the text and
redo the procedure.
7. Describe the actions that you took in the development of the Dissertation thesis in order to comply with
the Ethics principles applied in Economic research (max 1 page).
8. Prepare a short PowerPoint presentation in which you present your Dissertation thesis.

The presentation of the portfolio (max 7 minutes) will take place in the period 4.05.2020 – 18.05.2020
during the lectures.
