PLAY

Play is any activity that a child chooses to do and has fun whilst doing.
Through play, a child uses her senses to explore and learn.

WHY PLAY IS IMPORTANT:


A child learns and develops skills by playing. How? They experiment
with what things can do…, or what happens when…., or what if I do
this…
Play helps to develop a child’s body and mind.
Play helps a child to learn social skills, and who she is as a person.
Play helps a child to learn about her body and the environment in
which she lives.
Play helps a child to learn to understand the things around her.
