1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF
- I am Trisha Garcia. A software engineer for four years now.
2. STRENGTHS
- My greatest strengths are my ability to stay focused on my work and my
time management skills. When I commit to doing something, I make sure
it gets done, and on time. I am not easily distracted which allows me to
meet deadlines successfully.
3. WEAKNESSES
- I consider myself a workaholic person, and I love to dedicate myself to
the work I’m doing. However, I hold myself to very high standards and
sometimes put too much pressure on myself to succeed which I am
trying to improve on.
4. DREAM JOB
- I want to enter and explore the IT Industry and become a software
engineer.
5. WHY DO YOU WANT THIS JOB?
- I chose to be a software engineer as my preferred career because the IT
field is so broad and encompasses a variety of roles related to both
computer applications and systems. I want to create webpages or
enhance a company’s network security.
6. Why should we hire you?
- You should hire me because I possess the relevant skills that your
company is looking for. I also think that I am very flexible and adaptive
to learning new things. With m y experience with technology I am sure I
will be able to contribute something capable of the growth of the
company.

and update websites, make me a good match for this position. I would
love to bring my coding skills and my general passion for learning new

7. WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE?
- I’m someone who likes stability. My goal is to find a job that I can hold long
term with company, becoming a valued employee as I gradually advance to
positions of increasing authority and responsibility.
8. HOW DO YOU HANDLE STRESS AND PRESSURE?
- I’m not someone who is energized by or thrives in stressful environments.
My first step in managing stress is to try to circumvent it by keeping my
work processes very organized, and my attitude professional.
9. HOW DO YOU REACT TO CRITICISM?
- When a person criticizes my work, I will accept it as an opportunity to
improve myself. Therefore, no matter what kind of criticism is aimed at
me, I’ll analyze it and find something I can learn from it.
10. WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
- Success is what motivates me to pursue my career goal. Knowing that
my hard work and perseverance will help me achieve professional
success is what keeps me going. When I know that my efforts are
following the correct path, it encourages me to push more
