PDA

Defined: A public display of affection (sometimes abbreviated PDA) is the physical demonstration of
affection for another person while in the view of others.

Dictionary definition: affectionate behavior that is done in a public place (hugging, kissing, etc.)

Ways of doing PDA: Kissing on the lips, sitting on another’s lap, licking, Hugging/Holding from
behind (front to back).

Reasons: Among other major reasons of public display of affection we may list virginity, peer pressure
and an over-excited partner.

As deviant behavior: Deviant behavior is outside the bounds of the group or society. Many times during
a day we disagree with people, but we don’t usually label those we disagree with as deviant.
