They can be million kind of friends with different personalities.

Also
there are million other people with different opinion on what the most
important qualities of a good friendship can be. For example, someone
may want his friend to be funny while another may not. However, there
are some qualities every good friend must have, otherwise there will be
no true friendship.
First of all, a good friend should be loyal. True friends should always be
loyal to each other. A good friend should never betray the other in any
way, talk about him or her behind his or hers back or lie about
something important or not. Trust is the second most a valuable quality
in a friendship. Good friends should be trustworthy. For example, the
one friend should be able to trust the other one and tell them their
secrets without fearing that they might go and tell them to others.
Just as important as the qualities above is the quality of being
sympathetic. For example, one friend should speak politely to the other
friend. He must treat him as he would like him to be treated. He must be
supportive, in order to be sympathetic and don’t judge the other friend
by their mistakes or their decisions. Also, the friend should be reliable. A
good friend is one that the other can rely on for anything. They should
be able to trust the other to show up for any of their important events
and to do any task that they have assigned them to or that you have
agreed on.
In conclusion, a good and right friend should have all these qualities in
order to have a good friendship. Otherwise, the friendship will be toxic
and neither will benefit. In my opinion, the most important is to have
trust on the other. If they both have trust everything will work out.
