How a Computer A computer inputs information, processes it, stores and makes the output of the Information. Input Any data or instruction entered into the computer is known as Input. An input device helps you to communicate with a computer. To enter information and Issue commands, you can use input devices. A keyboard, mouse and scanner are examples of input devices. Keyboard Mouse Scanner Process Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the main chip In a computer which is used to process instructions, perform calculations and manage the flow of information through a computer system. The CPU communicates with the input, output and storage devices to perform tasks. Store A storage device reads and records information on storage media. The compute uses information stored on the storage media to perform tasks. There are two types of storage media: 1. Primary memory 2. Secondary memory RAM and ROM are examples of primary memory. Hard disk, floppy disk, CD (Compact disk) are secondary memory. The data that has been processed into a useful form 1s called Output. Output is the result we get through output devices.
