Sonoma County Coroner Synopsis Report

Gregory Frank Sena, age 69, was found unresponsive in his Santa Rosa residence on July 30, 2020 by his Veteran Affairs social worker who was checking on his welfare. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to obvious signs of death. The coroner determined the cause of death was cardiomyopathy due to atrial fibrillation due to congestive heart failure. The manner of death was ruled as natural.

SYNOPSIS

The decedent was found unresponsive in his residence after his Veteran Affairs Social worker was checking on
his welfare. The decedent was pronounced dead at the scene due to obvious death. The decedent's body was in
a state of decomposition.
The decedent’s body was transported to the Sonoma County Morgue Facility, where he was registered for a
postmortem examination by a forensic pathologist.
Dr. Raghesh Varot Kangarth determined the cause of death to be: “CARDIOMYOPATHY", due to “ATRIAL
FIBRILLATION”, due to "CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE".
This was a “NATURAL – Storage Only” case.
