is definitely Dato’ Lee Chong Wei [CP1]. Not only in Malaysia,
he is very well-known to the world through his great performance
in badminton [CP2]. He has won several tournaments like
Thomas Cup, All England, Commonwealth, Asian games and
other competitions. Besides, he is a triple silver medalist at the
Olympic Games [CP3]. I really look up to him as it wasn’t easy
to be number one player in the world.

Part 3
Report on the English Carnival
An English Carnival was organized by the English Language
Society of SMK Song No. 2 for the benefits of all students on the
school. There were many activities organised by the society to
attract the students to participate and to practice using English
language throughout the carnival. It was held for three days from
the 20th until 22nd of April 2022. As the secretary of the English
Language Society, I have been asked to report on the activities
during the English Carnival.
The main aim of this annual event was to develop CP1
students’ confidence to use the English language in daily
conversation. Besides, another purpose of this event is to
encourage students to learn English in a fun way. The English
Language Society organized a lot of activities for all students to
participate.
The first activity held was the Language games. In
this competition, students played and worked together with their
friends. The participants had to create words based on the
alphabets given on the game board. This competition improved
the participants’ vocabulary and they had spent an enjoyable time
together.
Furthermore, the second activity held was the Drama CP2
competition. This competition was quite challenging to the
participants. They had to form a group of several people. After
that, they wrote the scripts of the drama by themselves. After that,
they prepared the props and acted. That was a time where the
activity really built the students’ confidence.
Other than that, one of the activities held was the
Talent Show. In this competition, participants who were
interested in singing and dancing were encouraged to join. This
was the most favourite among all as the competitions held.
All in all, the English Carnival had been a great
success and I would like to congratulate all the members of giving
their support to organize this carnival. I would like to suggest we CP3
come out with more fun activities that can attract students to learn
and participate in English Language activities. Moreover, the
duration of the event could be extended to encourage more
participation.

Sibling rivalry can be extremely stressful for both parents
and children. Sibling rivalry is probably one of the worst things Intro + CP1
about raising larger families, as it can seriously affect family
dynamics and relationships within the family unit. Thankfully, for
only child, this is a non-existent problem. Therefore, I prefer to be
the only child.
Firstly, the benefit of being the only child is I will get all
the attention from my parents. Having no other siblings taking
away my parents’ attention, their focus will solely be on me and
only me. This helps in creating a stronger foundation with my
parents, unlike children with multiple siblings who have to fight CP2
for the limelight.
Furthermore, this is one of the best perks of being an only
child. I never have to share. Whether it’s my brand new perfume,
delicious midnight snack, pocket-money, or even my parents’
attention, it’s all mine. And, if I’m lucky enough, I even get a
room all to myself!
On the other hand, one of the most noticeable drawbacks
that a single child faces is the feeling of loneliness. With no other
child of my age at home to share my favourite toys with or to
fight for a few extra bites of food, I might tend to seek even more CP3
attention from the parents. The situation becomes furthermore
tricky when both parents are working. Moreover, with a sibling, I
would hope that I would have had someone to have a birthday
party with, and just someone to confide in, someone that would
always be there for me.
As a conclusion, there is no particular right or wrong answer to
the question. It is just about giving children the best for Ending
themselves as long as parents are not sacrificing their own space
too much After all, happy parents can raise a happy family.

The wind was gentle but chilly at first. Out of the blue, the
bright flashes of lightning lit up the dark night sky, immediately
followed by the roar of thunder. It's raining cats and dogs. The
alarm was ticking, alarming me as it was already late into the
night, 12:00 a.m. My parents were at the village and I am home
alone as I made decision to stay at home and hit the books as the
SPM examination was just around the corner. There were only
two weeks left before the true war begins. I was updating my blog
as my routine after a whole day and night studying. Not long
after, I realized that the internet connection was disconnected
after a loud thunder. I shut off my computer before the lightning
could strike it. After that, I ran as fast as lightning without
glancing back towards my bedroom from the studying room. I
jumped onto my bed in protest.
All of a sudden, “Bam!”. The door closed loudly by the
wind gave me a shock. I lay down on my bed to rest but the light
suddenly went out after another thunder. The rain became big fat
drops. I tapped on the flashlight app's icon on my phone. Just at
the moment the flashlight was on, I saw a shadow standing in the
bedroom with white shirt and there was no head and limbs on the
shadow! 'Ghost arh…Oh my God!' I screamed blaringly, rivaled
the blast of thunder and rain. "God, please help me, I promise to
be nice after this' I mumbled. When I peeked in fear, the 'ghost'
that I had seen was my school uniform that I had hang on the
wardrobe before. Thank God! Silly me! However, as time passed,
I was still scared. I kept scrolling my phone without glancing
elsewhere so that I will not think about scary things. “There is no
such thing as ghosts or evil”. I mumbled to myself. Soon, my
phone ran out battery, it shut off automatically without warning,
indicating my only source of sanity was gone. I was totally lost.
“Ding-dong!” the doorbell rang endlessly echoing in my
ears, I wondered who pressed the doorbell. 'Is it daddy and
mummy coming back earlier?', I thought. Then, I headed to the
living room to open the door with hope that it will be my parents.
When I opened the door, I totally lost all my words. Yes, there
was nobody. Must be the neighbour’s naughty boy playing the
doorbell, but it was raining now I doubted that he would be out if
his house. I wondered did someone tried to break into our house?
Nobody was by my side at the moment and how could I tackle
this. As I observed around, I saw a blood stain on the bell. I
quickly closed and locked the door without second thoughts
despite my hands were slightly shaking. I do not know what to do
at that instance. Difficultly, I

stoned body back to my bedroom in the dark house. My heart was
pumping like it was going to explode. On the way back to my
bedroom, I sensed a freezing cold hand touching my back; I
glanced back and stared at the bloody eyes like the Annabelle
doll. My shoulder hunched and my body began to tremble. I
quickly ran up the stairs but I stumbled halfway. My head hit the
floor. I fainted after that.
The next morning was I was woken up by my parents, at
the hospital. I cried and hugged them warmly. 'My child, why
were you at the hospital?', my mum asked. Puzzled in mystery, I
told them the whole story with tears and fear. My mum consulted
the doctor and he told us that I fell of the stairs and fainted. A
woman sent me to the hospital but they did not take her details as
she immediately left after that. I told the doctor about the incident
and the doctor said I was probably too stressful in my studies and
it caused illusions in my mind. I still wonder till this day. Who is
the woman who sent me to the hospital? Who did I see that night?
It will forever be a mystery.
