Main Colours
Avoid using colours not in this palette. If an exception is needed, please
contact CIBC Brand Governance for permission to use it.

CIBC Claret is the main colour of the CIBC logo.
In illustrations, both CIBC Accent Red and
CIBC Claret can be used to accentuate active
or key elements. Choose the red that is right
for the layout.
If utilizing broad bands of colour from which
copy will be knocked out, use CIBC Claret and
not CIBC Accent Red. Please note, however,
that Claret colour blocking is no longer a CIBC Claret

fundamental part of the branded template.

Use CIBC Accent Red to typeset headlines, as
an alternative to CIBC Claret, and in illustrations.
For copy (i.e., hashtags, headlines, subheads),
we always prefer CIBC Accent Red to CIBC Claret. CIBC Accent Red Dark Grey

Use the CIBC Flat logo when space or file
size does not allow for the CIBC Cube logo.
In these cases the CIBC Flat logo can be applied

When using any CIBC logo, be sure to access will find versions of all the colour formats
our large library of logos. Do not create, in both English and French. Below are
recreate or alter any logos. In the library you a few examples of logo don’ts:
