PROSPERITY

Study the underlisted scriptures to develop faith to pray the following prayers with the
understanding that God has planned for your business prosperity.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14, 8:18; Proverbs 10:4, 22:29, 24:27, 27:23-27; Joshua 1:8; Ecclesiastes 5:19.

Also don’t forget that there are responsibilities attached to your prosperity. As you study, try to
identify those responsibilities and fulfill them and by doing so you will be connected to God’s
covenant of uninterrupted blessings.

1. Oh Lord, baptize me with the generous spirit of a cheerful giver who gives out of love and not
out of compulsion.

2. The Lord will make me a pillar of support for the expansion of God’s Kingdom in Jesus name.

3. All my past generosity will be remembered by God. Every impossible situation in my life will be
turned around by God on the account of my past generosity in Jesus name.

4. I believe in miracles, I serve a God of miracles therefore; every chapter closed by men against
me will be re-opened by God in my favor in Jesus name.

5. Just as the famine in the days of Joseph elevated him, help me Lord to see the opportunity that
the current global financial crises is creating for my prosperity in Jesus name

6. Oh Lord endow me with the required mental skill to interpret every opportunity that comes my
way correctly and take maximum advantage of them in Jesus name.

7. I receive Grace to enjoy riches that will endure throughout my life time in Jesus name.

8. I receive total liberty from the embarrassing yoke of debt in Jesus name.

9. I receive total deliverance from the embarrassing stigma of knocking on doors and repeated
phone calls begging for financial assistance in Jesus name.

10. I will enjoy the surplus of heaven to achieve my purpose and have leftovers in Jesus name.
11. Murmuring will not take the place of money in my life and money will not mess me up; all my
bills will be supernaturally settled in Jesus name.

12. I refuse to be a burden on my neighbors, families and friends. I am a lender and not a borrower
in Jesus name.

13. Whenever the neediest need my help my purse will not be empty. I will be readily available to
meet their needs in Jesus name.

14. Oh Lord, deliver me (my husband, my children etc) from the slavery of evil appetite/habit that
is killing my health and destiny in Jesus name.

15. The Lord will satisfy my mouth with good things. I shall have appetite and money to eat choice
foods and accomplish great things in Jesus name.

16. I receive total deliverance from the curse of poverty and affliction that has ever plagued my
family line. I will live to transfer prosperity to my posterity in Jesus name.

17. I shall not only be great in wealth but also have great name in Jesus name.

18. Let your Spirit empower me oh Lord, to attain, sustain and enjoy success in Jesus name.

19. My joy shall multiply at the end of this month… I shall therefore count blessings and not
sorrows in
Jesus name.

20. Oh Lord deliver me from profitless labor and confused activities in Jesus name.

21. I shall not waste my seed. I will be divinely guided to plant my seed on fertile soil in Jesus
name.

22. Oh Lord, let the resources required to fulfill my dream in the custody of my enemies relocate
into the custody of my friends and helpers in Jesus name.

23. Oh Lord, let money forever remains my loyal messenger in Jesus name.

24. Both the help from above and abroad will combine and compete to settle my bills and fulfill my
dreams this year in Jesus name.

25. from now on all my investments and labor since the beginning of my career and ministry will

35. I refuse to submit my courage to frustration. God will send me encouragement today; I will be

36. The sun is rising today announcing my season of success and fulfilling my purpose in Jesus
name.

37. Those that believe in me and have invested in my dream, encouraging and supporting me will
not be disappointed in Jesus name.

38. The Lord will allow something better to come out of every bad situation that baffles me in
Jesus name.

39. Let the prophetic power that operated in the valley of dry bones re-unite me with my lost
(glory, helper, husband, wife, children, joy etc) in Jesus name.

40. Every carnal attitude of disobedience and demonic spirits that are promoting barrenness in my

46. The Lord will release a measure of prosperity into my life that will swallow all my history of

47. The Lord will give me a new name and a new identity that will bury all the ugly stories
associated with my background in Jesus name.

48. My new life in Christ has clothed me with a garment of righteousness; my past sinful life will
no longer hurt or haunt me in Jesus name.

49. A similar grace that made Jabez more honorable than his brethren will distinguish me among
my equals in Jesus name.

50. Today marks the beginning of my bouncing back. My spiritual life shall be restored and my
lost glory shall be fully recovered.

51. I declare every department of my life under the control of Satan disconnected in Jesus name.

52. All the sinful habits that enslave me to Satan will henceforth irritate me in Jesus name.

53. In all the areas where men have failed me, let your mercy prevail for me in Jesus name.

54. In all the areas where money may disgrace me, let your mercy raised men of influence in my
favor in Jesus name.

55. This week I will encounter God’s mercy that will end all problems of money associated with
my family in Jesus name.

56. Inadequate supply will not compel me to abandon God. Excess supply will not deceive me to
disconnect from God in Jesus name.

57. I receive Christ Spirit of endurance to endure the season of adversity and wait for the era of

100. The supreme council of heaven will repeal, reverse, and amend every decree, policy,
legislation that is contrary to all my noble business vision in Jesus name.

MARRIAGE PRAYER POINTS

For spinsters and bachelors who feel that obtaining the right partner is getting rather late. The best way to
arrest delay in marriage is to engage in constant wrestling bouts with the enemy and to call back all the
benefits you would have gained if you had gotten married earlier. God is waiting for you to fight it out with
your enemy.

No word of God shall lack power of fulfillment! God's words are always backed by His authority and we
know His words cannot return to Him void. We serve a God that cannot lie. His dreams, vision and words
concerning our lives will surely come to pass. God is the one that instituted marriage and He performed the
first wedding ceremony in Genesis chapter 2. God has a man for every woman and if you feel that you have
lost God's perfect will for your life, don't forget that for every Vashti there is an Esther.

Lateness in marriage can come as a result of collective captivity, manipulations of household wickedness,
spirit husband/wife and other anti-marriage forces. "In His time God makes all things beautiful" (Ecclesiastes
3:11). The God that makes all things beautiful, will step into your situation, break down every wall of partition
between you and your God-ordained partner (Ephesians 2:14) and gather you together by His Spirit (Isaiah
34:16; Ephesians 2:13). Our God is faithful! He never comes late. He will hasten His words (concerning your
marriage) to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12).

CONFESSIONS

Habakkuk 2:3 says, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Isaiah 34:16 says, “Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want
her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Philip. 2:9-10 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above
every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth;”
Col. 2:13 says, “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened
together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”

Rev. 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and
they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

PRAISE WORSHIP

 Thank the Lord because your miracle has come.

 Ask the Lord to forgive you any sin that would hinder answers to your prayers.
 Lord, make known to me the secrets of my inner life. Help me Lord, to discover my real self.

 Let every imagination of the enemy against my marital life be rendered impotent, in the name of

DEALING WITH THE STONES OF THE WICKED

Psalm [Link] “Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the
habitations of cruelty.” This means that there are places on earth that are dark and the Bible
recognizes them. The only place on earth that light shines is the church of God. The Bible says,
“Ye are the light of the world.” What is done at the dark places of the earth are wickedness and
cruelty. It is from the dark places that wicked stones are thrown at the sons of men. In those places,
there are no friends, even if you said that you belonged to them, they are still your enemies.

Somebody vomits witchcraft into a woman and pushes her to the market place to confess that she
is a witch. The old woman goes to the market and says, “Behold, I have eaten twins and their legs
are in my mouth.” And people at the market said, “Abomination.” The same person who put
witchcraft into her and sent her to the market place to confess tells his children to pick up stones
and stone the woman.

It is a useless activity to serve the devil. If you call yourself a witch, wizard or familiar spirit, you
are wasting your life and at the end of the day, you will land in hell. So, it is a senseless thing to
do. It is a certificate of destiny demotion. Think about it.

If you are to be a battle-axe for the Lord, you will face a lot of problems. The Bible says that they
those who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus must suffer persecutions. If you do not want to
be a battle axe for the Lord, if you just want to be a mediocre Christian, if you want to warm the
benches and be quarrelling with people who sit beside you or even fight people at the car parks to
the extent of tearing their clothes, and at the end you say, “amen,” no problem. But know that at
the end of the day, you will go to hell fire, the home of unprofitable servants.

Personally, I have faced many problems in my life, but I overcame them all. You cannot become
God’s general without confronting adversity and afflictions. You cannot become a world general
without fighting any war. Afflictions and adversity have no friends. Adversity is that unwanted
enemy who continues to knock at our door in the middle of the night calling us again and again to
come and fight.

Somebody was tired of reading stories in the newspapers, which he called bad news. So, he
decided to publish his own newspaper to carry only “good news.” But to his amazement, people
were not buying it and within a short time the newspaper folded up.

The news media, you would find out, specialized in publishing pains and adversity. They know
that people are ready to read them, to feed themselves on negative sensational painful news. For
example, the caption, “Girl burns herself to death after she was jilted by a boyfriend,” will attract
the attention of many people. But a headline such as, “Man celebrates 90th birthday,” would not
have such an effect. Many people would say, “Eh, this one should die and go.” The devil is
cleverly feeding the whole world with the negatives. If you want to run an advert that will attract
the attention of many people, just put a naked woman in it and you would succeed. The message
will sink in their brain because the devil has programmed women like that.

However, in spite of the adversities, we have a promise that we are conquerors. Isaiah [Link] “No
weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in
judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servant of the Lord and their
righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” It does not matter what the weapon is, the Bible says that
the prosperity of the weapon shall be withdrawn completely.

Proverbs [Link] “Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into
his own pit, but the upright shall have good things in possession.” What the Bible means here is
that the enemy will fall into his own pit. Proverbs [Link] “Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein
and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.” There is something called boomerang. It is a
small stick, when you throw it at a person and it misses its target, it will come back to you who
threw it. Proverbs [Link] “The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his
stead.” Ecclesiastes [Link] “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it and whoso breaketh an hedge, a
serpent shall bite him.”

Some of us are wasting time crying, worrying our brain and calling God a liar. If you study the
Bible very well, you will discover one of the principles of the power of God. That principle says,
“The weapon formed against the people of God falls back on those who set the force in motion.”
Sometime ago, I was praying with a certain sister. Everything was upside down for her. As I was
praying, a woman appeared and said, “What is your business in this matter? Why? Is this person
your sister? Do you know her before? Why are you wasting your time? Leave her alone. We have
not come here to cause trouble. So, you too, don’t cause trouble. Just stop this prayer and let her
go.” I continued the prayer and told the sister what I saw. Thereafter, she went home and the
following week somebody died. It was the woman that appeared to me while I was praying for her.

The weapons formed against the people of God often fall back on those who form them. I can give
you various testimonies on that. When I was an undergraduate we were going to have an
examination on Chemistry. I had two note books on that course. Life was not as easy as it is now.
In those days, examinations were taken more seriously than is the case now. At the end of the year,
you would be tested on all you were taught throughout the year. If you fail, you will repeat the
class. It was unlike now, that questions are broken into pieces and people are still failing, or they
claim to be sick when the examination time draws close. All examinations were done in June.
Somebody stole one of my note books, the one I needed most and no student agreed to give me his
note book. I went home very sad, but I heard a voice from the Holy Spirit saying, “You still have
one note book, don’t you remember?” I said, “Yes.” The voice said, “Read that one.” It didn’t take
me up to two hours to read the notebook l had with me but I was still worried about the stolen one,
until I got to the examination hall. There was not a question from the big notebook that was stolen.
So, all the person who stole it did for me was to allow me to concentrate on where the questions
would come from, and I am sure he would have wasted his time studying the notebook that he
stole and eventually he would have failed.

Somebody, who was very close to me and has gone to be with the Lord now, was sitting in his
sitting room and one day, without knocking at the door, a demon-idol entered. Such a thing may be
strange to some people, but in some places it is a normal fighting spirit seen often. This demon-
idol walked up to this man and called him by his full names, including the ones nobody usually
called him. It said, “I have been sent to you.” And before this man could move, the idol struck his
right hand with the big stick in its hand and the hand became paralysed instantly. The idol walked
out slowly and disappeared. Such spirits are never in a hurry. The man was a child of God but did
not have enough knowledge. So, all he could do was to grab a bottle of water by his side prayed on
it and poured it on his hand and the hand became normal again. The demon-idol came back
another time because the first time it came, the man did not deal with it thoroughly. It was allowed
the second chance to fight.

The case of one sister was different. The enemy sent a similar demon to her but as it announced its
name and said, “I have been sent to beat you,” the sister said, “Are you sure you are at the right
address? I command you to stand at attention, in Jesus’ name.” The thing stood attention and the
sister said, “Take your big stick and begin to beat yourself according to what is written in the Bible
that “no weapon formed against me shall prosper but it shall prosper in the camp of the enemy.”
The demon-idol beat itself until it smashed its head and disappeared. After that five people died in
the sister’s village, including the chief priest, and they never sent another demon-idol to her. What
I am saying is that what shall be your deliverance shall bring doom to your enemies. That is God’s
principle. The same Red Sea which brought deliverance to the Israelites, brought destruction to the
Egyptians. The pillar of fire which gave light to the Israelites gave darkness to the Egyptians. The
night which brought deliverance and joy to the children of Israel also brought lamentation and
tragedy to Egypt. The den of lions through which Daniel moved into promotion brought
disgraceful termination of his opponents.

Say this loud and clear, “My problem shall become my promotion, in the name of Jesus.”
The fiery furnace which was air-conditioner for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego killed those
who threw them into the furnace. Glory be to the name of the Lord. That which is life to you will
kill your enemy. The sword with which Goliath meant to cut off the head of David was eventually
used to cut off his own head. All the credentials of Goliath did not scare David. In fact, looking at
him, David was not impressed. David said, “For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he
should defy the armies of the living God?” The same force that the enemy has created to destroy
will as a matter of necessity destroy the enemy. The arrow fired by Joseph’s brethren got back to
them even though it took a long time, in 15 years Joseph sold into slavery and expected to have
been dead became their lord.

As somebody uses his biro and paper to deal with you, the same biro and paper shall deal with
him. The Syrian soldiers who came to Dothan to take Elisha were the ones taken captive. The
Bible tells us that the wicked are always firing stones and arrows at the righteous but glory be to
God that all the stones and arrows can be forced to go back to them.

The Bible talks about the fiery darts of the enemy. The spiritual world is fashioned in such a way
that once a bad thing has been initiated there, it must happen to somebody. It is the same thing with
God. Isaiah [Link] “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto
me void, but is shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I
sent it.” If God says that somebody should go and receive blessing at a service and the person
happens not to come to church, or he is sleeping, that blessing will not go back to God, it will look
for somebody else and give it to him. When the enemy programmes death into a child of God, God
will do a simple substitution, the righteous is removed from trouble and the wicked is used as a
replacement.
MANY THINGS FIRED AT CHRISTIANS THESE DAYS INCLUDE:

1. Physical and spiritual sickness: When a person who is usually very happy, reads the Bible and
rejoices every morning, wakes up one morning and does not feel like reading the Bible or praying
and instead feels depressed and unhappy, it means that the stone of the wicked has been fired
against him. If it is the day that the angels of blessings are coming to him, there will be problem
because he has started the day on a deficit.
2. Arrows of disappointments: There could be the arrow of curses, spells, death, poverty, confusion,
etc. A person who receives such arrows will be confused. There are also arrows of self-destroying
utterances and of terrifying dreams. Do you know that some people are afraid of sleeping
because, immediately they close their eyes, they are surrounded by evil things and problem starts.
Sometime ago, a woman shared an experience with me. She said that while she was sleeping, she
felt somebody beside her whom she thought was her husband, and this person made love with
her throughout the night. In the morning, when she woke up she did not find anybody by her side
again and she started looking for her husband all over the place, only for her husband to come in
at 9.00 a.m. and told her that he spent the night in the office. It was then she was scared. That was
the stone of the wicked. It could be a stone of disappointment, frustration, doubt, temptation into
sin, etc.

THE GREATEST SPIRITUAL SPY

The greatest spiritual spy that reports us to the camp of the enemy is fear. Fear reveals our strength
and weakness to the enemy. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit
of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind.” A believer should be free from fear at all times
and under all circumstances. When fear occupies your heart, you make yourself a subject of arrows
and stones of the enemy. The enemy, with the help of his scanning machine, would see fear in you
and know that all the prayer points you are calling are out of the heart of fear. That spirit of fear
will show itself. That is why it is often said that the most common demon in the whole world is
fear.

ARROWS OF THE LATTER DAYS

Many weapons and arrows are used against people these days. Some people are choked on their
beds and they find it difficult to breath. Some people hear voices asking them to do strange things.
The kind of sin they did not commit before they became born-again would become easy for them
because the strange voice urges them to do it.

It is like a sister who on her bed suddenly heard, “Daughter, rise up,” and she got up naked at
midnight. Her husband and the children did not wake up. She passed through the sitting room and
walked into the street. However, as she was going, she suddenly heard another voice which said,
“But the daughter of God does not run mad, go back home.” It was then that her eyes cleared, she
saw that she was in the street and she went back home. When she entered, she woke her husband
up and told him what happened and he could not believe that she walked out naked. But she
actually did.

Some people hear voices from the spirit world. Many just pray short prayers and sleep. You should
be giving testimonies if you know what some people face everyday. It could be the arrow of
sudden depression. When it comes upon a happy person, all of a sudden the joy of the Lord
disappears. It could be a paralytic wind. We have people blown by that wind who come for
deliverance. They could be in front of their houses and a small breeze blows upon them and they
just suffer paralysis. Until that evil wind comes out, they will remain paralysed. It could be a cold
chill at night. The room could be hot and all of a sudden becomes cold and before you know it, the
heat clears away. It is the stone pf the wicked. It could be a heavy head. It could be things moving
all over the body. These are arrows of the latter days. Somebody could be eating food and all of a
sudden he sees a strange item in the food which could be a very big insect or a cockroach.

When weapons are set in motion against the children of God, as a matter of necessity the weapons
fall back upon the forces that set them in motion. People’s hair or part of their body could be cut
off. Spiritual or physical snakes could be sent to somebody, these are wicked arrows. A sister
working in an office gave a testimony. Somebody told her that if she got promoted to a particular
post she would not live to enjoy it. She thought it was a joke. One morning, as she was drinking
tea, she perceived something cold on her legs and by the time she looked, it was a big snake. She
called in her messenger, who was a huge and strong man. When he entered and saw the serpent
already winding around her legs, he ran out and at that stage the woman knew that she was on her
own. Then she prayed one prayer point: “You evil serpent, be electrocuted, in Jesus’ name.” As
she prayed it, suddenly she saw fear in the snake which shortly stretched out and died. If that sister
did not know what to do, she would have died and be forgotten now. It could be heat in the head.
Do not take it lightly and say that it will go. Even if it would go, deal with it first. There is no harm
in doing that.

Feeding people in the dream with what they would not ordinarily eat is also a wicked stone.
Women having affairs with men in the dream is an arrow of the wicked. Receiving emergency
false message from home, that somebody is dying, only to be told on your getting there that
nobody is dying and they tell you that they have not seen you for a very long time and it is the only
method they can bring you home, is an arrow of the wicked. You need to pray against it.

When a person begins to see coffin in the dream, it signifies the spirit of death. The enemies are
sending the person to the grave. You really need to pray seriously if you have that kind of dream.
When anything at all comes upon you and you want to shout for help to Jesus in your dream and
you cannot shout, or you are not able to pray or fight against the thing, it is a wicked stone.
Anything that does not allow you to have the consciousness to shout Jesus when you are under
satanic attack in a dream is a wicked stone. It must go back to the sender. Some people dream and
see themselves picking eggs in the dream and eating them. The meaning of that is that they are
putting incurable diseases in their body. Such people really need to stand up and do something
quick. If you dream of flood carrying away your property, send back the flood to where it came
from. If somebody sees herself doing wedding with a strange person in the dream, she needs to
destroy that church where she found herself and send fire to the bridegroom or bride. If somebody
dreams that his hat or cap was flying away or that his dress was being removed and he found
himself or herself naked, he or she needs to pray against the spirit of disgrace. The enemy is using
many things like that to harass the people of God. You must learn to take action because the Bible
says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

WAY OUT
If you are attacked, do not panic. If you do and you expose your situation or announce yourself to
the unbelievers around you they will not offer you any useful advice. They may only re-arrange
your problem and you have more problems. Do not be afraid, because you know what the Bible
says in Psalm [Link] “Yea, though, I walk through the valley of shadow of death I will fear no evil,
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”

1. You must not try the devil’s solution: If you do, the arrow will multiply because it is only light that
can overcome darkness. If you receive help from him, you will pay back. The devil has no free gift.
Anywhere you go to and any gift said to be of God is not offered freely, that gift is something else
it is not from God.
2. Learn to cover yourself with the blood of Jesus.
3. Learn warfare scriptures: For example, Deuteronomy 28:7, which says, “The Lord shall cause thine
enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face, they shall come out against thee
one way and flee before thee seven ways.” See also Deuteronomy 7:15, Jeremiah 1:19, Isaiah
8:10, Isaiah 54:17, Numbers 23:23, Psalm 68:1, Psalm 91. They are examples of warfare scriptures.
4. Learn to call on the fire of God: When the situation becomes hard, the answer is fire.
5. Learn to send evil arrows back to sender.

This is how to deal with the stones of the wicked. When the enemy throws a stone at you and it
goes back to his camp, then he will know that our God is the Almighty.

PRAYER POINTS

1. I break the law of sin and death upon my life, in Jesus’ name.
2. O Lord, heal my waters and my bread, in Jesus’ name.
3. Satanic garments, tear away from my body and be cast into the sea, in Jesus’ name.
4. Oppression be shifted away from my foundation, in Jesus’ name.
5. O Lord, you promise to take away evil plantation from my life, therefore, take it away, in Jesus’
name.
6. O Lord, command men on my behalf, in Jesus’ name.
7. Every wind of darkness, fade away by fire, in Jesus’ name.
8. Every arrow fired against me and my family, backfire, in Jesus’ name.
9. Every arrow fashioned against my destiny, backfire, in Jesus’ name.
10. (Grip your head with your two hands and pray like this): I fire back every arrow of the enemy
fired into my head, in Jesus’ name

BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE OF LONG LIFE

In the last few years, we have witnessed or heard about a lot of tragedy. People that were expected
to be alive were dead. A lot of young people were dead and some of them were born again. Is it
God’s will? No. We must also realize that the devil has some powers to kill but the only strongest
power is the power of God. Just as the Bible has principles for long life, it also outlines what could
cause short life.

God’s original plan for man was life not death, health not sickness, energy not weariness and
radiance not dullness. So, if Brother Adam had not sinned, he would have lived forever. The Bible
emphasizes that God is not interested in short life. One man of God said that it was a tragedy for a
plant to die at the seed stage because it could not become a plant. A situation where young people
are dying shows that a lot of things are going wrong.

Deuteronomy 6:1-2: “Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which
the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to
possess it. That thou mightiest fear the Lord thy God to keep all his statutes and his
commandments which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy
life; and that thy days may be prolonged.”

Here, we can see that God is not interested in short life. Job 5:26 also says, “Thou shalt come to
thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season.”

Proverbs [Link] “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments. For
length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake
thee, bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart”.

Proverb [Link] “For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be
increased.”

Proverbs [Link] “The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be
shortened.”

God is not interested in short life for His children.

Proverbs [Link] “The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of
righteousness.”
That is, if you hair is gray it is a crown of glory if you are in the way of righteousness.

Psalm [Link] “The days of our years are three score years and ten; and if by reason of strength
they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow. For it is soon cut off, and we fly
away.”

This verse is a curse and not a blessing. It is the minimum, which a lot of people now claim
whereas they should not claim it. But even this minimum, which is a curse, is difficult for a lot of
people to attain.

Psalm [Link] “With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.”

Isaiah [Link] “They shall not build, and another inhabits; they shall not plant, and another eats:
for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of
their hands.”

The Bible is telling us that it is a tragedy for somebody to sweat to gather, but before he would
begin to reap the fruits, he dies.

Ecclesiastes 6: 1-2: “There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among
men. (The Bible calls it an evil thing). A man to whom God has given riches, wealth and
honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not
power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it, this is vanity, and it is an evil disease."

Six major ways by which people die on earth

1. A person can die by his own hand: This is when a person just destroys himself, for example, by
personal execution, personal murder, or assassination. It is possible for a person to eliminate
himself. Sometime ago, a man fainted in the street and people rushed to help him. By the time a
doctor that was passing by got there, he found a packet of drugs in his pocket, which he must
have taken. As a medical personnel, he found out that they were hard drugs which he ought not
to have taken. But he went to the chemist bought it and swallowed it. He decided to kill himself.
2. A person can die by the hands of another man. It may be robbers, witches or wizard, etc
3. A person can die by fear, especially the fear of death.
4. A person can die by breaking natural laws. For example, if a person decides to jump down from
the top of a 25-storey building he would die. Or if a person knows that he cannot swim, but
decides to go and swim, it could lead to his death.
5. A person can die by succumbing to the aging process. When everything in the body is old, the
system may stop working.
6. A person can die by sickness or disease.

What Are The Causes Of Short Life?

1. DISOBEDIENCE TO PARENTS:

Ephesians 6:1-3: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy father
and mother; which is the first commandment with promise. That it may be well with thee and
thou mayest live long on the earth.”

If you don’t honor your father and mother, the reverse too will be the case, and that is untimely
death. You may say that your parents are very bad, but any assignment that the Lord has given to
you, you must do. We are not taught to hate any human being but if there is any evil spirit within
them walking against our destiny, we must contend with the evil spirit. The Bible says “that we
wrestle not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of
darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Also, the Bible says that he who does not look after his family is worse than an infidel. You may
say, “But anytime I give them money, they use it against me.” Anoint the money and send it. A lot
of young people are dying today because they decided not to listen to their parents’ cry. Some will
go out with their fathers' cars after their fathers have warned those several times not to drive the
cars. They decide to do otherwise and their corpses are brought home.

2. Not walking in the way of the Lord:

Failure to walk in the way of the Lord will bring short life. Deuteronomy [Link] “Ye shall walk in
all the ways which the Lord thy God had commanded you, that ye may live and that it may be
well with you, and that he may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.”

When you walk in the part of righteousness, the Lord will prolong your life. The Lord has no
obligation to protect you when He knows that your life is a disgrace to Him.

3. FAILURE TO TEACH THE WORD OF GOD AT HOME:

If you fail to teach the word of God at home, it leads to short life.

Deuteronomy 11:19-21: “And ye shall teach your children, speaking of them when thou sittest
in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest
up. And thou shall write them upon the doorposts of thine house, and upon thy gates. That thy
days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord swore unto
your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.”

4. NOT FEARING THE LORD:

Proverb 10:27 says, “The fear of the Lord prolongeth days; but the years of the wicked shall be
shortened.”

Please, note very well that nothing happens by chance; everything is programmed in the spirit.
There is nothing like a stray bullet or somebody using cutlass on you accidentally. It has been
programmed in the spirit. What will make these seeming accidents not to happen are the kinds of
things we are talking about in this message.
The fear of God is rapidly jumping out of the house of God now. People are not afraid of God any
more. They dress anyhow, talk anyhow, and insult the men of God without knowing that they are
inviting curses upon themselves. When you insult a man of God, his anointing will fight you, the
blood of Jesus will fight you, the angels will fight you, and anything can fight against you. The
fear that people had when they got born again in those days is fading out. We need to bring that
fear back into the house of God. You need to fear the Lord from the bottom of your heart and
know that there are certain things you cannot do. It may be convenient and comfortable for others
but you cannot do them. There are certain things that a Christian does not touch at all because of
the fear of the Lord. It is these days that people come to the house of the Lord with chewing gum
in their mouth. Sometimes it seems as if the Lord was not quick in punishing us. But we must not
take that for granted because the devil would be doing a deeper harm.

Do you fear the Lord? If you do, then your days will be long, but if you don’t, your days will be
short. Some people talk to the Lord anyhow. For example, they would say, “I am sorry Lord, that I
committed that sin, this is not the first time. Any way you wrote that even if my sin is as red as
scarlet it will become as white as snow, so forgive me for I am a human being.” They command
God to forgive them without fear. In those days, people used to cry at the altar showing godly
sorrow for their sins. There is no fear of God again, believers fall into fornication and all kinds of
sins and still smile, saying that there is a limit to human endurance. These are the causes of short
lives. When arrows are fired in the spirit world it goes around looking for loopholes. If they see
that there is no fear of God in your life, although you are coming to the house of God, they would
enter into your life.

[Link] TO CONTROL THE TONGUE:

I Peter 3:10 says, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from
evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.”

One of the greatest causes of short life is the tongue. If it were possible to padlock the mouth of
human beings, a lot of people would not have died when they died. Many have gone into bondage
because of their tongues. It is not everything that we have to say. Sometimes you just have to keep
quiet. Most of the time it is better to listen. If your tongue has no control and you can speak 200
words per minute then you are writing an invitation to short life. Some people can talk and abuse
an angel of God without knowing that the fellow that they are talking to is an angel of God, and
they end up inviting curses because angels don’t operate like us. They don’t tolerate indiscipline
and they can be easily provoked. That was why God warned the Israelites: “I will place my angel
before you to go on the way that you will go but take heed that you do not provoke him. If you do,
he will not pardon you. Don’t provoke him because he does not understand the word “please”.
The angel did not forgive Zechariah when he doubted him and said, “Can these things be? I am old
and my wife is advanced in age.” The angel said, “I am Gabriel, I came from the throne of God to
give you this message and you are talking rubbish. For that, you shall be dumb.” He had to close
his mouth and send him on a compulsory holiday. The tongue has killed so many people. I pray
that the Lord will deliver us from the trap of the tongue, in Jesus’ name.

[Link] EVIL:
Proverbs 11:19 says, “As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his
own death.” If you are pursuing an evil agenda, you are doing so at your own hurt.

5. FORGETTING THE LAWS OF GOD:

This leads to short life.

6. ALLOWING AN EVIL WEIGHT ON YOUR HEART:

Proverbs [Link], “The merry heart doeth good like medicine but a broken spirit drieth the
bones.” So, when you allow evil weight in your heart or when you allow a spiritual wound in your
heart, you will waste away. Whatever is in your heart, whether it is envy, anger, cruelty, fear,
immorality, it would affect your body, soul and spirit. Many people do not understand that what
goes on in the heart determines whether the body, soul and spirit will be healthy or not. Many
sicknesses can be directly related to the attitude of the heart. Proverb 14:30 says, “A sound heart is
the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.” When a heart is polluted with bitterness,
anger, malice or is filled with sin, it will shorten the life span of the person. If all you are thinking
about is sin and lust, it means that you want to die young. Eventually, you might develop high
blood pressure.

7. WOUNDED HEART AND NEGATIVE EMOTIONS:

This can cause all kinds of sicknesses. It means people are being cruel to themselves.

8. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF SPIRITUAL PREVENTION:

This also shortens life. An English adage says that prevention is better than cure. God wants the
totality of our being to be in good health and not for us to be seeking for healing. It is better to be
immune than to have a disease and start taking drugs. The word of God shows clearly that
Christians are supposed to have some immunity. To have immunity is better than having to
evacuate the enemy anytime he gains entrance. So, we have to clothe ourselves with the fire of
God and the blood of Jesus so that the enemy will not gain entrance.

Prevention, even in the spiritual world, is better than cure. Some people say that it is because they
were living in a particular town that they were having a particular problem. But when they moved
to another town, the problem continues. Some, even when they move to another accommodation,
witches would still be pressing them down on their beds. Such people should realize that it is
because the enemy has entered inside them. The evil dreams are being played from inside. A man
may sleep and another world opens up to him. Sometime ago, we were praying with somebody
and a whole human being wearing rags walked out of him. The man and ourselves saw the thing
left. It waved at the man and he waved back. Later, for the first time in his life, he had a financial
breakthrough. It would have been better not to allow the spirit to enter into him than for it to enter
and he had to go on seven days dry fasting.

Many believers find it very hard to memorize scriptures. Some will tell you that their brains are
getting older, whereas unbelievers spend quality time memorizing incantations, which they use
against the children of God. The word of God says that we can build a hedge around us, which the
enemy cannot penetrate.
There are some passages in the Bible that believers should know off hand, if they want prevention
and protection and do not want the enemy to shorten their lives. We call them immunity scriptures

1. Exodus [Link] says, “If thou will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do
that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandment, and keep all these statutes, I
will put none of these diseases upon thee. Which I have brought upon the Egyptians for I am the
Lord that health thee.”
2. Deuteronomy [Link] “And the Lord will take away from thee all sicknesses, and will put none of the
evil disease of Egypt, which thou knoweth, upon thee, but will lay them upon all them that hate
thee.”
3. Isaiah [Link] “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee, when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned,
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” This is talking about immunity against the waters of
tribulation, immunity against the rivers of trouble and immunity against the fire of affliction.
4. Isaiah [Link] “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall
rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”
5. Psalm [Link] “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
6. Psalm 27:1-2: “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength
of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?. When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes came
upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.”
7. Psalm [Link] “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty.” This Psalm tells us about immunity against the power of the night. It might interest
you to know that most people do not sleep at night. The Psalm also talks about the arrow that
flies by the day. It tells us about immunity against pestilence that walks about in darkness. It tells
us about the power that causes destruction at noonday. It talks about power against the lion and
the dragon. It talks about immunity against evil in all its ramifications.
8. Psalm 105: 14-15: “He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea he reproved kings for their sake,
saying, Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.”
9. Zechariah [Link] “For I saith the Lord will be unto her a wall of fire around about her and will be the
glory in the midst of her.” Verse 8: “For thus saith the Lord of hosts, after the glory hath he sent
me unto the nations, which soiled you for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eyes.”
10. Psalm [Link] “The angel of the Lord encampeth around about them that fear him and delivereth
them.”
11. Proverbs [Link] “When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid; yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy
sleep shall be sweet.”
12. Mark [Link] “They shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them,
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
13. Luke [Link] “Behold I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the
power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

My prayer is that your spiritual immunity shall not break down, in Jesus' name. We have so many
outstanding promises that God will protect us, but if we break certain laws this immunity will
break down. If you don’t know what to do or you do the wrong thing your immunity can break
down. So many things can break down the immunity. For example, wrong attitude. If somebody
hurts you and you harbour resentment in your heart against him the enemy can see the dark cloud
in your heart and that will break down your immunity.

Following the fashion of the world is another way you can break down your immunity. When
someone lets you down or disappoints you and you begin to broadcast it to the whole world, your
immunity will be broken down. When you pay evil for evil, when you decide to pay people back
in their own coin, your immunity will break down. When you are very angry and you throw
tantrums on people, your immunity will break down. Calling people insulting names, gossiping
and not forgiving those that have hurt you will make your immunity to break down. All the
demonic jewelries that people put on make their immunity to break down. Demonic herbal
concoctions and other terrible things that people swallow make immunity to break down.

Leviticus [Link] “For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you upon the altar to
make an atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

For you to be healthy and be moving about without any sickness, your blood must be immune. All
the diseases that are available actually drink people’s blood. If a person loses a lot of blood, and
nothing is done to restore it, he will soon die. Malaria is a terrible disease because it sucks
people’s blood and uses it to produce more of its kind. Surely every sickness came as the result of
the failure of Adam and Eve.

Somebody had a fever in the Bible. Let us see what Jesus did.
Luke [Link] “And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s
wife’s mother was taken with a great fever and they besought him for her. And he stood over
her and rebuked the fever and it left her and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.”
It means that you can talk to the fever or to your blood. You may say that this is madness. That
would not be strange, after all, people said that Jesus and Paul were mad.

But when you learn to pray the following prayer points, you give yourself immunity:
1. Let the blood of Jesus be transfused into my blood, in Jesus’ name.
2. I render my blood untouchable to any disease, in Jesus’ name.

When you pray like this, any disease that comes in contact with your blood will die. There are so
many other things that you can do. For example, you can anoint your body or put the anointing oil
in your cream. You must be careful the kind of food you eat. You must always pray on your food
and your water. Make sure you don’t over eat things.

The children of darkness often fortify and prepare themselves because they know that they can be
attacked, but sometime the children of God are so foolish that they don’t fortify themselves. In the
light of this, I want you to pray the following prayer points aggressively.

PRAYER POINTS
