Steinberg, Marty. “Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, World's Longest-Serving Monarch, Dies at 96.”
CNBC, CNBC, 9 Sept. 2022, https://www.cnbc.com/2022/09/08/queen-elizabeth-ii-of-
britain-worlds-longest-serving-monarch-dies-at-age-96.html.
Martin Steinberg’s article is a detailed account of Queen Elizabeth II’s life and her 70-year reign
from 1952 – 2022, making her the longest serving monarch. It was a period of social, economic,
technological, and political change, which saw the once-global British Empire transform into a
Commonwealth of 52 independent nations, as well as the country's entry into and exit from the
European Union. Her personal life moments recounted from her involvement during WWII, her
marriage to Prince Phillip, the choice to open the royal family to the media and her response to
the global pandemic which crippled the world.
Elizabeth became queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand
upon the death of her father, George VI, on Feb. 6, 1952. Her coronation was June 2, 1953. On
Feb. 6, 2022, Elizabeth became the first British monarch to reign 70 years. Soon after the
coronation of Elizabeth’s father, the U.K. was plunged into World War II. At 14, she made her
first radio broadcast in 1940, addressing children who had been evacuated to the countryside
and abroad to avoid the bombings of British cities. On Nov. 20, 2017, Elizabeth and Prince Philip
celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Their 73½-year marriage was by far the longest for
the monarchy, surpassing that of King George III and Queen Charlotte’s 57 years (1761-1818).
Steinber’s article encompasses Queen Elizabeth’s life in an overarching chronological format.
The timeline provides a wealth of information and is enlightening to read as you follow her
journey. Compared with the more recent events, the information provided earlier in the
context is somewhat ambiguous, since her first 50 years of life seem to have been summarized,
whereas her last 20 years were marked by a significant amount of detail. This seem to coincide
with the introduction of the media into the royal family.
Steinberg’s article is from a popular source. While it is published on a popular news website,
the information therein could have been peer-reviewed as is stated that Phillip Tutt and
Michele Luhn contributed to the story. A correction is stated at the end of the article indicating
that although this source is accurate, it is not academic literature and was not reviewed for
accuracy prior to publication.

Yuefei Jin et al., text is a detailed study of the initial outbreak of (SARS-COV-2) COVID-19.
Declared a global pandemic by the World Health Ogranization on March 11, 2020, the study
compares the likeness of SARS-COV-2 to the similar SARS outbreak in 2002 and MERS outbreak
in 2012. The scientific advancements during those previous outbreaks aided the understanding
of SARS-COV-2 and accelerated development of viral infection treatment.
The article includes several references and citations to other similar articles that aided in
the development of the collaborated article therein. The article includes 5 figures
containing infographics of the location, genome and pathogenesis of SARS-COV-2.
There is a considerable amount of information provided in the abstract section of the article,
with a particular emphasis placed on the lack of conflict of interest. The article itself appears to
be the result of collaboration among the multiple authors and links to each of their own work,
which all contribute to the main idea in the article. In addition, the inclusion of infographic
figures illustrates in more detail what may not be effective over text, particularly as it relates to
the virus itself and the process of infection.
The article is peer reviewed. The publication is submitted to the National Library of Medicine,

Musk, Elon. “Mars & Beyond.” SpaceX, https://www.spacex.com/human-spaceflight/mars/.
Elon Musks’ webpage is specifically tailored to the human spaceflight to Mars mission. Mars is
one of Earth’s closest habitable neighboring planets with characteristics fairly similar to that of
Earth. Space X’s new Starship will be the most powerful spacecraft ever developed with the
ability to carry over 100 metric tons out of Earth’s orbit. The Starship can complete the trip
from Earth to Mars in approximately 6 months with the ability to use Mars’ natural resources to
fuel the return to Earth.
There is a lot of attractive information within Musk's website, with large, eye-catching fonts
that make the data appealing to the eye. Despite the lack of real data, there is enough basic
information to entice the reader to explore other aspects of the website. It is through the
information provided by this source that an inquisitive understanding of the possibilities of
traveling to another planet can be developed.
This is a trade source. It a published to Elon Musks’ own website with data pertaining to the
eventual mission to Mars. There is information on Mars that is commonly known, as well as
details regarding Musk's own company's work towards a human space flight mission. Although
the information may be accurate, it does not contain any significant information that may be
disputed outside of Space X.

Sage Journals. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/1074295620915724. 95-107
Jessica Hardy’s article is a research-based study of the use of positive reinforcement with young
children. A positive reinforcement approach is also consistent with recommendations made by
national organizations in the areas of early childhood development and early childhood special
education. A description of guidelines for planning, implementing, and evaluating positive
reinforcement is provided in the article. A checklist of items to follow is provided as an example
of how guidelines and tools have been used to support implementation. The purpose of
reinforcement for young children is to encourage the use of skills and behaviors in real-life
situations.
This article focuses on the alternative methods to child education and the methods used to
correct or reinforce behavior. The prevalence of emotional and behavioral disorders in
preschool-aged children is estimated at 10-20%, with evidence that challenging behavior in
early childhood can persist over time. The remainder of the article focuses on systematic
positive reinforcement in early childhood education, backed up by numerous citations that
contribute to the credibility of the article. Furthermore, in addition to the citations, the authors
of the article themselves state that there are no potential conflicts of interest in connection
with the research or publication.
The article is peer reviewed. It is published in an academic institute specializing in disabilities as
well as submitted to a journal publication that uses multiple methods of peer review. A number
of the articles that are cited in the reference are also published by the same academic institute,
which enhances the credibility of the research.

Casey, Henry T. “When the Heck Is Ted Lasso Season 3 Coming?” Tom's Guide, Tom's Guide, 8
Sept. 2022, https://www.tomsguide.com/opinion/when-the-heck-is-ted-lasso-season-3-
coming.
Henry Casey’s article is a summarization and partial Op-Ed over the Apple TV series “Ted Lasso”.
The most important point Casey makes in this article is that there has been no news regarding
the third season of the popular Apple TV series. Despite the fact that the first two seasons of
the show were released in the summer of each year, the same release date for the third season
appears to have been missed. Despite the fact that Apple provided information on other
products presented during the same keynote as Ted Lasso's historical announcement, they
failed to provide a timeframe for the launch next season. It may be due to the fact that the
third season is slated to be the series' finale, but no date has been specified for when the
season will begin.
Despite Apple TV's limited number of self-produced shows, Ted Lasso has been its most popular
series. There is no factual information within this article since all events described are
associated with other products and nothing is mentioned about Ted Lasso, which is the purpose
of this article. As Casey goes on to say, the anticipated launch date for the third season was
simply an assumption based on the dates of the previous two seasons. In addition, information
regarding the subject matter is obtained from alternative sources such as "The Hollywood
Reporter" and "Twitter" without any actual information from Apple.
This article is popular. The website itself is a tech publication and gadget recommendation
website focusing as an online resource for unbiased product reviews. This article itself sits
within the Opinion category and authored by an editor focused on streaming media, laptop and
“all things Apple”. It should be noted that the referenced material contained within the article
is primarily based on assumptions and quotes from other media publications, which further
lead to the conclusion that this article acts as a question concerning the future of this television
program.
