PUBLIC SPEAKING ACTIVITY
SPEECH OF ANY FAMOUS PERSON
कुछ परिंदे उड़ रहे हैं आँधियों के सामने,
उनमें ताकत ना सही पर होसला होगा ज़रूर।
इसी तरह तक आगे बढ़ते रहे तो दे खना,
तय समंदर तक एक दिन फासला होगा ज़रूर।

I __________________ and for today’s activity I will be your host
Well, being today’s host my first and foremost duty, on behalf of the students of class 8 th I welcome to
honourable Principal Sir, Respected Judges , teachers and dear Friends .
Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate,
only love can do that.
In the flush of love’s light, we dare be brave And suddenly we see that love costs all we
are and will ever be. Yet, it is only loved which sets us free.
Now, I would like to call the respected Principal Sir and our honorable judges for lamp
lighting.
Thank you so much sir.
Before moving any further l would like to call monitors of class 8th to pin up the badges
to the Principal sir.
Before starting the program let me introduce today’s Judges.
And request to Girls monitors of class 8th to pin up the badges to the judge
We are having Mrs. _______________ who will be the judge of today’s contest
and select best of the best speakers.
Initially, let me read out the rules given to the participants and the participants
are requested to follow the rules and regulation. Every accomplishment starts with
the decision to try.
• Participant will disqualified if found with reading material on the stage.
• Speeches shall not be more than three minutes and not less than 2 min 30 seconds in
length.
•5 marks will be deducted for exceeding time limit upto 10 seconds or sbsceed less than 2min
39 seconds.
All the Participants have brilliant qualities and talents to show it to you.
Now I see all are ready to come on the stage.
So, who is going to break the ice?
Without waiting put your hands together for the first speaker __________________ to come

Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to
lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win
again, you are going to be a champion someday.
We have champions who presented their talent in front of such a big audience. Let’s have a big round of
