Level A2 - Test 1

The speaking test lasts 8 to 10 minutes

PART 1 (3 - 4 minutes): The examiner will ask you some questions. These questions will
be about your daily life, past experience, future plans, school, job, hobbies or hometown.
Listen carefully and answer these questions:

1. Which college do you come from? What is your major?

2. Which school subject do you like best? Why do you like it?

3. How long have you been a student?

4. Do you like reading? Which is your favourite book?

5. How often do you go to the cinema?

PART 2 (5 - 6 minutes) You will be given a topic with prompts. Before you talk, you
have 1 minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes if you
wish. Here are the topic and the prompts.

Topic: Talk about your favourite music. You should say - what kinds of music you are
interested in - why you like it - how much time you spend listening to it every day

PART 3 (1-2 minutes) You will be asked two more questions about the topic above.

- Who is your favourite singer? Why do you like him/her?

- What would life be like without music?

Level A2 -Test 2

The speaking test lasts 8 to 10 minutes

PART 1 (3-4 minutes): The examiner will ask you some questions. These questions will
be about your daily life, past experience, future plans, school, job, hobbies or hometown.
Listen carefully and answer these questions:
1. Which college do you go to? What is your major?

2. Who is your favourite teacher? Why do you like him/her?

3. Where did you go last summer holiday?

4. What are you going to do next weekend?

5. How often do you go to the library? What do you do there?

PART 2 (5-6 minutes) You will be given a topic with prompts. Before you talk, you have
1 minute to th you are going to say. You can make some notes if you wish. Here are the

Topic: Talk about keeping fit and staying healthy. You should say

- what you often do to keep fit and stay healthy

- how often you do that

- what kinds of food you should/shouldn't eat to keep fit and stay healthy

PART 3 (1-2 minutes) You will be asked two more questions about the topic above,

• What habits are bad for your health?

. What should you do if you want to lose weight?

Level A2 - Test 3

Topic: Talk about a restaurant you have been to. You should say:

where the restaurant is

what it looks like inside and outside

what kinds of food it serves

PART 3 (1 - 2 minutes) You will be asked two more questions about the topic above.

• Home-made food or food from a restaurant, which do you prefer? Why?

• What traditional food do you have in your hometown?

Level A2 - Test 4

The speaking test lasts 8 to 10 minutes

be about your daily life, past experience, future plans, school, job, hobbies or hometown.
Listen carefully and answer these questions:

1. Where is your hometown?

2. Where are you living now/What's your address?

3. Which school subject do you like best? Why do you like it?

4. What do you often do in your free time?

5. Do you often go to the library? How often? What do you do there?

3. How many people are there in your family? What are their jobs?
