Ayoub Hussein is a famous artist. He is from Kuwait.
He was born in 1932. He used to be a teacher. He
painted pictures about old Kuwait. People can see his
paintings in the museum.

My favourite hobby is drawing. I like drawing because it
is interesting. I draw pictures at my school. My best artist
is Ayoub Hussein. I’d like to be an artist like him.

Last week, we saw a car accident. Two cars hit each other
and were damaged. My father called the police and the
ambulance. They came at once. The ambulance took the two
drivers to the hospital. The police said that the accident
happened because of driving very fast.
My Favourite TV Show

My favourite TV show is cartoon films. I watch it after
doing my homework. My brothers and I enjoy watching
cartoon films at the weekend. They make us laugh. We
learn many useful things.
The Sea

I like going to the sea on my holiday. I go with my
friends. We play and walk on the beach. I shouldn’t swim
when the sea is rough. High waves and sharks are
dangerous.
Failaka Island

Failaka is a beautiful island. It is twenty kilometres
from Kuwait City. We can go there by boat. You can see
many old buildings there. If we go to Failaka, we will know
about history.

I like going to the scientific Centre in Kuwait. It has
the largest aquarium in the Middle East. We can see the
divers feeding the sharks there. It has a harbour with seven
dhows in it. We can enjoy the cinema there.

Water is very important. Rich countries build
desalination plants to get fresh water. People use water for
drinking, washing and for farming. Many people die
because they drink dirty water. We should save it. We
should thank Allah for giving us clean water.

small fish. It is 18 metres long. It is not dangerous. It lives in
warm water.
