The Instituto Nacional Joaquin Ernesto Cardenas is a public college where We aim to provide a safe

REPEATED COURSES
Only the higher grade awarded is used to determine the cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA). The
following indicators will be noted under the remarks header (R) to identify the repeated course:

DESCRIPTIVE TERMS
GPA-Hrs (Grade Point Average Hours): The total number of credit hours used to calculate the GPA
Pts (Grade Points): Total Grade points x Total GPA Hours
Note: Transfer credit earned hours are not included in semester and overall grade point averages.

REMARKS

• Graduation hours may not include all transfer credit hours used toward a credential.
• Subject numbers beginning with an “A” designate INSTITUTO NACIONAL ERNESTO CARDENAS
• A student may receive an Interim grade of “I” if semester work has not been completed to the
satisfaction of the instructor. At the end of 60 days, the “I” grade will be changed to a letter grade
as determined by the instructor.
