SUB: AN APPLICATION UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION

ACT, 2005

Sir,
You are requested to please consider the following as an application under the Right
to Information Act, 2005 and reply appropriately to the queries raised below.

The queries in this application pertains to the plot of land admeasuring to an area of
__ Decimal or __ Cottah __ Chittack, be the same a little more or less, (hereinafter
referred to as the “subject property”) lying and situated at Mouza – Dakshindari,
JL no. 25, corresponding to R.S. Khatian no. 380, 381 & 382 under CS/R.S. Dag
nos. __________________ & _____ within the territorial jurisdiction of South Dum
Dum Municipality Ward no. 33 and Lake Town Police Station having Certified
Holding no. 1202 at Dakshindari Road.

The information which I seek is as follows:

A. That under whose name(s) the aforesaid subject property is mutated in the
Municipal Assessment Records of South Dum Dum Municipality and whether
the Mutation Certificate has been issued or not?

B. What is the annual valuation of the aforesaid subject property and in whose
name the Tax Receipts are issued?
C. Who has been paying the taxes in respect of the said property over the
years?
D. When the Mutation Certificate if any, with regard to the subject property
issued?

E. Whether there has been any request recent for any change in the Municipal
Assessment Records of South Dum Dum Municipality with respect to the said
property?

F. Whether any arrear and/or outstanding dues along with penalty and interest
if any, is lying unpaid in connection with the aforesaid subject property or
not?

Further as provided under Section 6(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, in
case this application does not fall under your authority, I request you to transfer
the same in the designated time (5 days) to the concerned authority and inform
me of the same immediately.

To the best of my knowledge the information sought does not fall within the
restrictions contained in Section 8 & 9 of the Act and it pertains to your office.

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly provide me with the information as

requested in the aforesaid paragraph to my given address with the statutory
period of 30 days.

A fee of Rupees 10 has been deposited.
