Concert music performances at Your Church to raise money for local charities.
Why? - to help fulfill Your Church's mission of serving the community and those in need
- inspiration from, and to help fill the charitable void left by the closing of the charity
concert series at Richmond Beach Congregational Church
Orca Concerts and Sean Osborn in partnership with Your Church's music and leadership teams
- 501(c)(3) Charitable Non-Profit Clarinettissimo oversees the Orca Concert Series
- Sean Osborn is an international clarinet soloist and composer
- 30+ years producing and performing in concerts
- well connected to international chamber musicians, and our local musicians and press
2-4 concerts per year
- chamber music: 3-8 performers
- 60-80 minutes long
- music from Renaissance to Modern
- musicians from Seattle Symphony, Berlin Phil., New York Phil., Carnegie Hall, etc.
For the benefit of local charities
- HopeLink, The Sophia Way, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, etc.
- raise money for Your Church's charitable arm.
- invite people from charities, or who are serviced by charities, to speak
Admission by donation
- Pay what you can, with suggested donation of $25/15
- Charity gets 50% of money, musicians split other 50%
- welcome for free people serviced by featured charity, and anyone who cannot pay
- Possibly solicit additional donations during event.
Your Church provides: space, piano, program printing, some publicity, mention in
newsletters/emails/etc., concert manager (collect money, lock/unlock space)
Orca Concerts provides: musicians, music, additional publicity, series website, mention in
facebook/emails/etc., page-turners, etc.
This proposal should be thought of as a point of departure to craft a partnership between Your
Church and Orca Concerts to serve your mission and make Your Church a center of music and
community for your city.
