1. The Bangladesh Bank has issued guidelines for establishing an Export Facilitation Pre-finance Fund (EFPF) to help export-oriented industries cope with the global economic situation and keep export activities ongoing. 2. Any borrower who receives financing from the EFPF will not be eligible for further financing if they have any overdue export bills. 3. Borrowers are not allowed to receive financing from the EFPF after obtaining financing from the Export Development Fund (EDF) for the same export shipment if the export bill becomes overdue, despite no prior guidelines restricting this.
