GUIDELINES FOR UPDATION OF ASSET MOVEMENT REGISTER

No. Description

1 The Fixed Asset Movement Register is there to record the movement of the assets from one hospital to another hospital

2 The following are considered as Fixed Assets for the purpose of this register:

2.1 Medical & Surgical Instruments (Instrument sets and other medical & surgical instruments)

2.2 Hospital equipments (Generator, cots, beds, OT & Labour room tables, Fire pipeline & equipments, motors etc.,)

2.3 Medical equipments (Multiparameters, CTG machines, USG machines etc.,)

2.4 Furniture & Fixtures (ACs, coolers, chairs, tables etc.,)

2.5 Computers, Printers and other IT assets

3 Ensure to enter the names of the assets individually for each category or class of assets and not as a group

4 Update the Asset Movement Register with the details of transfer for all the movement of assets,

5 Ensure to collect the signatures of the receivers or givers wherever required in the register

6 Ensure to get the movement of assets approved by Business Head (BH) by taking signature in the register

Ensure to update the Asset Movement Register against the previous entries for the return of assets transferred
7 previously

8 Ensure to update the Register for the transfers to vendor for repair

9 Ensure to update the Register for the return of assets from vendor after the repair
10 Ensure to update the register for new purchase of assets and mention under Remarks column as 'New Asset'
