What is Spatial Relationship?
Spatial relationship is nothing but a relationship between two or
more different space.
In how manner those spaces are interrelated with each other is
known as spatial relationship.
Types of Spatial Relationship
Mainly there are 4 types of Spatial Relationships
1. Space Within a Space
2. Interlocking Space
3. Adjacent Space
4. Spaces Linked by a Common Space
1. Space Within a Space
A space my be contained within the volume of larger space.

The field of a space may overlap the volume of other space

3. Adjacent Space
Two spaces may abut each other or shape a
common border
Adjacency is the most common type of spatial relationship. It
allows each space to be clearly defined and to respond, each in
its own way, to specific functional or symbolic requirements.
4. Spaces Linked by a Common Space
Two spaces may relay on an
intermediary space for their
relationship.
