When we query tables we use the general syntax of PROJECT.DATASET.TABLE
...for instance
SELECT * FROM jrjames83-1171.sampledata.aoc2017day2
You can also use backticks
SELECT * FROM `jrjames83-1171.sampledata.aoc2017day2`
