Task: Below is a list of Transactions for Mantao Inc. Record each transaction [12] and create a
balance sheet [8], a Trial Balance [5] and an Income Statement [8] using excel. You will find the
templates for each on the course website.

Transactions

1. Mantao invests $20 000 in company called Mantao Inc.


2. Mantao’s company was a tutoring service
3. Company buys supplies for $400
4. Mantao tutors Rob for 10 sessions totalling $500. Rob pays $250 now and the rest later.
5. The company does another service for $1000 and receives $500 in cash and the balance
payable on account.
6. Mantao pays rent for $500
7. Mantao withdraws $1000 for personal use
8. Mantao pays to advertise her business. She gets a big sign made for $500.
9. The company bought a computer on credit card for $500
10. Mantao buys a vacant land for $10 000. $5000 was paid in cash and the rest on a loan
11. The company was paid back $250 for services already done
12. Mantao buys computer equipment for $1000 on account
13. Mantao has to pay gas for $50.
14. Rob pays off Mantao for tutoring services
15. Mantao paid off her loan
