Listening section

In this part of the test, you will have the chance to show how well you understand spoken English. There
are four parts to this section with special direction for each part.
PART I
Questions 1 to 4
Directions:
In this part of the test, you will have some dialogues and questions spoken English. The dialogues and the
questions will be spoken twice. They will not be printed in your test book. So you must listen carefully to
understand what the speakers are saying.
After you listen to the dialogue and the questions about it, read the five possible answers, and decide
which one would be the best answer to the question you have heard. Now listen to a sample question.

Question 12 and 13 are based on the following monologue.
Last holiday, I went to Cipanas with my family. We went by car at 7 in the morning. Our journey
was fast because there was no traffic jam in Puncak so we got there at 9 o’clock.
Firstly, we visited ‘Taman Bunga Nusantara’ or Nusantara Flower Garden. It was really beautiful.
We saw many kinds of flowers planted and arranged according to their species. They were in lovely
arrangements, like animals, clocks, etc. It was amazing for us. We also enjoyed the mini-train provided to
travel around the park.
After visiting the flower garden, we visited Cipanas Presidential Palace. It is a very beautiful
building surrounded by panoramic views, with fresh, cool air.
