2 DESIGN PROCEDURE:
The two bridge girders are simply supported on the two end carriages as shown.
We will design the girder for strength and deflection to the following codes:
IS 807–2006: Code of Practice for design, erection & testing (Structural Portion) of Cranes and Hoists.
IS 800 – 1984: Code of Practice for General Construction of Steel
