Mikey Williams was born on June 26, 2004, is 19 years old as of 2023. He was
born and raised in a Christian family in San Diego, California, USA.
Michael Anthony Williams showed early promise in basketball, beginning at
the age of 11 months. He improved his talents with the help of his parents and
spent his childhood on an outside court in his apartment building.
Despite abusing in early school, his love of the game remained overwhelming.
He began his basketball career as a ball boy for San Ysidro High School and
later achieved his first official game at the age of 12 in 2017 while playing for
the San Diego Sharks.
His talent continued to shine as he joined various teams, eventually gaining
recognition as the top player in the 2023 class in seventh and eighth grades. He
also played alongside Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, on the North
Coast Blue Chips Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team and in 2019, he joined
the Compton Magic on the AAU circuit.
Mikey Williams Family
Mahlon and Charisse Williams are Mikey Williams’ parents. His father, Mahlon
Williams, played basketball for Sweetwater High School while his mother,
Charisse, played softball for Kearny High School and Hampton University.

Moreover, he has two siblings. His younger brother is Marvin Williams and his
younger sister is Skye Williams.

Basketball Career
Michael Anthony Williams began his high school basketball journey at San
Ysidro High School in San Diego as a freshman. He made an impressive debut
on November 20, 2019, scoring 41 points in his first game and following it up
with a 50-point performance in the next.

He achieved a career-high 77 points on December 13, setting records and


earning recognition as the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year.

For his second year, he transferred to Lake Norman Christian School in North
Carolina. However, in 2022, Williams decided to return to San Ysidro High
School for his senior year, marking a significant homecoming.
