Elections 2022 and then forwarded to the Chief Commisioner for
announcement. These first stages of the election process were tasky
but at the same time fulfilling to have arrived at a desired list.
Before the election proper commences, September 5-7, 2022,
the two parties “FORDA GO Partylist and SAVERS Partylist” had their
Room-to-Room Campaign. A schedule was set for this event, so as
not to disrupt classess. On the first day of the campaign, candidates
were scheduled the whole morning and the whole afternoon on the
next day. They were only allowed a maximum of 10 minutes per
classroom.
The school has adapted an electronic/digital elections. The
decision was made so that the election won’t be too lengthy and will
save much time both for student-voters and subject teachers since the
event happened on a weekday with classes going on. In connection to
this event, a schedule was made beforehand by the YOUTH COMEA
to faclitate an organize and systematic voting procedure. 4 laptops and
5 PCs were set up too before voters were admitted to the voting
station – the computer laboratory. After all preparations were made,
the election started at 08:12 am.
The advent of technology speeds up the election process, and
viola… after all students were able to cast their votes, at 04:36 pm the
votes were canvassed and the results were provided. (Please see the
attached results)
Winners were proclaimed and the Oath Taking took place too.
These events wouldn’t be possible and successful without the
undying support of everyone.

Challenges Computers to be used for the digital elections are very limited.
Encountered

Suggestions Functional computers should have been 40 to accommodate all
