MORE THAN LOW MILER INSURANCE WILL NOT BE RENEWING YOUR CAR INSURANCE
We are writing to let you know that More Than has decided not to sell car Insurance anymore. This doesn’t
affect your policy right now, and your cover will continue until your policy expires on 01/08/2023. If you still need
cover for your vehicle after this date you will need to arrange this with a new car insurance provider.
Swinton Insurance offer a similar insurance policy to More Than Low Miler
If you need support in organising your new car insurance cover for when your current More Than policy expires
we know Swinton Insurance offer cover for low mileage drivers.

Proof of your No Claims Bonus is enclosed. Swinton Insurance or any other new insurance provider may request
this when you set up your new car insurance policy.
It is illegal to drive without insurance
Remember that driving without insurance is an offence under the Road Traffic Act 1988. It is important that you
have insurance cover in place for you and your car. The police can check the Motor Insurance Database which
enables them and other statutory bodies, such as the DVLA, to check if a current insurance policy is in force
for your vehicle.

Q: Do I need to advise my future insurers that you chose to not invite renewal?
A: No, this is our decision which does not need to be disclosed as ‘a refusal to offer insurance’. This is not a
reflection of you as an individual and affects all our motor insurance customers in the same way.
Q: Does More Than’s decision to not invite renewal affect my current insurance policy?
A: No, your current More Than policy will continue unaffected until the renewal date. You will be able to make
changes and access your portal as normal.
Q: Who is Swinton Insurance?
A: Swinton Insurance is one of the largest insurance brokers in the UK, with over 60 years’ experience insuring
thousands of drivers. Swinton Insurance is a trading name of Atlanta Insurance Intermediaries Limited and is

Q: Why are More Than no longer offering car insurance?
A: More Than continues to remain a strong brand in the marketplace for home and pet insurance. A business
decision has been made to concentrate on these products and withdraw from providing More Than car insurance.
Q: I have an outstanding claim, who do I need to contact in future?
A: Your ongoing claim will not be transferred to your replacement insurer. It will continue to be dealt with by
More Than until the claim has been closed.
Q: If I need to report a new claim, who do I need to contact?
A: If the incident occurs before your renewal date, you should report your claim to us. If your incident occurs
after your renewal date, you should report it to your new insurance provider.
