The reality is that our emotions can bring out a dark and evil side of us when we lose our
temper.
We become someone we don’t want to be.

What I learned in reading is that explosive anger is bad and can affect our health.
When the body experiences anger it starts to trigger a response called the “fight or flight”
The adrenal gland floods the body with stress hormones, such a adrenalin and cortisol.
The body prepares for a possible physical action.
This has consequences like: Digestional problems, insomnia, stroke and depression.

There are people who do not know how to control their anger and tend to explode or use their
anger in a bad way to manipulate people, this can lead to physical abuse or violence. These
people often have very low self-esteem.
And other who learn to repress it, they think that being angry is bad or inappropriate and so
they decide to suppress it.
Although the latter also has consequences, for example: Fatigue, depression and chronic pain.

Right now there are healthy ways to manage anger how professional help.
You can walk away from the situation until you cool down, think about the reason why you feel
angry and different strategies on how to fix the situation.
