Windows / mirrors clean and in working order
Tyres: tread / pressure / rims / wheel-nuts / spare + jack
Tow hitch / trailer electrical connection
Reflectors: sides and rear / chevrons / reflective tape
Registration plates
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Clean
Radiator full (no leaks)
Oil level correct (no leaks)
Battery: water level correct / terminals clean
Brake fluid level correct
Fan and other drive belts tensioned correctly
Tilt cab securing mechanism operating correctly
LIGHTS / SIGNALS: Indicators: Front / rear / hazards
Headlights: Main beam / dipped beam / park lights
Tail lights / brake lights / reverse lights
INTERIOR: Hooter and windscreen wipers
Doors / canopy lock
Seats, mirrors adjusted to suit driver
Instrument panel: all switches / warning lights working
First aid kit, emergency triangle and fire extinguisher
Sufficient fuel
Steering wheel: steers correctly
Brakes working (test)
Gears / clutch working (test)
Exhaust (no leaks)
