KCSE Grading System

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) uses a 12-point grading scale, with letter grades from A to E. Grades are based on a student's aggregate points from their 7 best subjects, with an A ranging from 78-84 points, A- from 71-77 points, and so on down to E which is 1-7 points. KCSE results are graded and reported using this 12-point scale.
