 Give a title that catches the attention of the reader.
 Begin with a striking opening sentence that attracts the readers and gets
them interested in the topic.
 Introduce a new point at the beginning of each paragraph to strengthen
your ideas.
 Present ideas supporting the topic with evidences.
 Use rhetorical questions to provide a specific effect.
 Develop your ideas as much as you can to make them interesting.
 Conclude with your strongest point.

and your audience.
 Do not add too many quotations.
 Remember to proofread your answer.
 Do not exceed the word limit.
Article Writing – Structure

 Title/Heading –Eye Catching, illustrating the central theme.

 Introduction – Establish a context through an opening sentence. Reader's attention to
be drawn. Put a rhetorical question or give some statistical fact or begin with a
quotation.
 Content-discuss various aspects of the topic- merits/demerits, causes, consequences
effects, advantages etc.
 Conclusion-Give your opinion, comments, criticism and recommendations. Conclude
with a hope, a warning, an appeal or a call for action.
 Word Limit : 120-150 words.

How to Channelize the Energy of Teenagers ?

The students in their teenage have enormous amount of eagerness,
enthusiasm, fervor, vigor and promptness to perform a multitude of things.
They are full of physical and emotional energy. Unless this energy is rightly
channelized, it is possible they use it negatively.
This is the age when they are developing an outlook towards the world. This
early adulthood is quite crucial. Influence of media, friends, cinema
sometimes promotes rash behavior as heroic .Hence it becomes imperative to
channelize their energy.

In channelizing this energy, the parents and the mentor in schools play
significant role. Parents must be understanding enough and should inculcate
and educate about the right. Culture, Values, Stories are best medium to bring
teenagers close and channelized. Giving them ample opportunities in sports,
classroom, theatre ,technology , clubs, NCC, music at school channelize them
to a great extent. They must be encouraged to have productive hobbies and
must be taught that hobbies can curb depression and anxiety not only during
childhood but also in old age. Art and Literature are also avenues for
channelizing the energy of youth. This will develop confidence, skills,
discipline and good behavior.
