Onboarding User Guide
Pre requisite for Onboarding any user:
On SIT you have to add yourself under group as mentioned below: -
SIT:
Setting -> Users - Groups & Authorisation -> Groups -> Assignment -> group type (Standard User) ->
NIC Onboarding user -> Add (group members) -> select user
In details:
1. Login into SIT with login id password
2. Go to setting
3. Now go to in User-Group & Authorisation and click on Groups
4. Now click on Assignment in User-Group & Authorisation column and select Group Type as
‘Standard User’
5. After selecting group type as ‘Standard User’, click on NIC Onboarding user in Group List. And
then click on Add for adding yourself as new group member.
6. And then select user
User Onboarding steps:
1. Login in SIT Public Portal with credentials
2. Go to Setting -> Users – Group & Authorisation -> Add User page
3. Under ‘Tag User to a Project’ enter user’s Email id and select Project from dropdown
4. Enter ‘First Name’ and ‘Last Name’ and ‘Mobile Number’ and ‘Designation’ and ‘office
Address’ and ‘Pincode’ and select State
5. Under 'Tag User to a Primary Hierarchy', select the hierarchy in which user needs to be
tagged and click on 'Save Hierarchy' button
6. Select 'Role' from the dropdown and click on 'Save Role' button
7. Click on ‘invite’ button
8. Navigate to ‘Operations’ tab -> Multiple Pending Approvals -> dropdown module and select
as ‘USER’ -> click on ‘New User Invite for PreDemo proj’
9. Select the invited user and under Approval Categories, Approve the request.
10. Now approve the request
11. Invitation status should be show ‘VPNPENDING’
12. Navigate to setting -> VPN -> Applicant Registration
13. Select VPN Request and click on Update VPN link
14. Update Registration No, Source IP and Expiry Date.
15. Click on submit
