SIA code: 203615 Application submission period: PERMANENTLY OPEN GENERAL INFORMATION Description : Procedure to apply the scales and tables of equivalence of average grades of foreign university studies and degrees, taking into account the Resolution of March 21, 2016 and the Resolution of July 21, 2016, and obtain the average grade equivalent to the rating scale of Spanish universities. PROCESSING The procedure is implemented in the following steps’ 1. The “declaration of equivalence of the average grade of university academic records completed in foreign centers” form must be completed with the information from the academic record and the grading scale that corresponds to the studies carried out is selected. Afterwards, the grade data obtained on the original scale and the grade equivalences that correspond to the Spanish scale of 5- 10 must be added. The form automatically calculates the final average grade of the academic record. 2. Once this process is completed, the “Declaration of average grade equivalence” can be printed to present itto the entity that has requested it (admission to studies, calls, competitions, etc.). To fill out the form, follow the instructions in the Instructions for filing out the statement of average grade equivalence.collected in Annex I of the Resolution of September 18, 2017, which updates the list of scales(see in "Related information" the pdf called "Annex II. Instructions for the declaration of equivalences"), 3. Once you have finished filing out the GPA equivalency statement, you can download and print it immediately. The printed "declaration of average grade equivalence” document, which will contain a CSV (secure verification code) must be signed to present it to the entity that has requested it for the procedure in which the interested party intends to attend (admission to studies, calls, contests, etc.) 4. The declaration of equivalence will be reviewed by the bodies instructing the procedures, which must verify the data included in the declaration to validate it. It will only be effective if it is accompanied by the original official academic certificate or a duly certified photocopy thereof, and, where appropriate, the corresponding translation. 5.
