Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)


Q1. Although I have correctly written my Roll Number in the box provided in OMR
answer sheet, but the bubbles are marked/darkened incorrectly. Will my answer sheet
still be evaluated?

Answer- No, your OMR answer sheet will not be evaluated.

Q2. I have accurately written the question paper series in the designated box on the
OMR answer sheet, but I forgot to darken/mark the bubble. Will my answer sheet still
be evaluated?

Answer- No, your OMR answer sheet will not be evaluated.

Q3. I have submitted both the Red and Blue OMR sheets to the invigilator after
completion of the examination. Will my answer sheet be evaluated?

Answer- Yes, your answer sheet will be evaluated.

Q4. I have mistakenly submitted the BLUE OMR sheet instead of the RED one to the
invigilator after completion of the examination. Will my answer sheet be evaluated?

Answer- No, your answer sheet will not be evaluated.

Q5. What items are banned at the Examination Venues during Examinations and during
conduct of the Personality Tests (Interviews) in the APSC premises?

Answer- (a) Mobile phones (even in switched-off mode), any electronic equipment,
programmable devices, storage media (such as pen drives and smartwatches), cameras,
Bluetooth devices, or any other equipment and related accessories, whether in working or
switched-off mode and capable of being used as communication devices or other
communication or IT gadgets, are strictly prohibited within the premises of the examination

venue. Any violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action, including the
cancellation of candidature for the current examination and debarment from participating in all
future Examinations/Selections conducted by the Commission.

b) Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable/expensive items to the Examination
Venue, as safety of such items cannot be assured. The Commission will not be responsible for
any loss in this regard.
