My Family

This is my family. My dad's name is John. He has brown hair and wears glasses. He likes to read books and
play basketball. My mom's name is Emily. She has blonde hair and likes to wear dresses. She works at a
hospital and helps sick people feel better.
I have a brother named Jack. He's seven years old and loves to play video games. He has curly hair and
wears glasses, just like my dad. I have a sister named Sarah. She's three years old and likes to play with
dolls. She has blonde hair, just like my mom.
We like to do things together, like go on bike rides and play board games. I love my family.
My Home
This is my home. It is a small house with three rooms. The first room is the living room. It has a sofa, two
chairs, and a TV. We watch movies and play games in this room. The second room is the bedroom. There is
a bed, a closet, and a dresser in it. This is where my parents and I sleep. The third room is the kitchen. There
is a stove, a refrigerator, and a sink in it. We cook and eat meals in this room. There is also a table with four
chairs where we sit to eat.
My School
Hi, my name is Fatima, and I go to school in Algeria. I love going to school because I get to see my friends
and learn new things. My school has a big playground where we play during recess.
In the morning, we have assembly where we sing the national anthem. Then, we have different subjects
throughout the day such as math, science, Arabic, and French. I love science because we get to do
experiments and learn about the world around us.
During our break time, we go to the canteen or we play games with our friends. After lunch, we have more
classes and then we go home in the afternoon.
I really enjoy going to school and learning new things every day.
My friends
Mohamed loves spending time with his friends. He has three best friends: Karima, Youssef, and Fatima.
Karima loves reading books, Youssef likes playing soccer, and Fatima enjoys drawing. They often hang out
together after school, playing games or chatting about their day.
Mohamed thinks Karima is very smart and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. Youssef is funny and
always makes everyone laugh. Fatima is kind and patient, and she never judges anyone.
They all share a love for traditional Algerian food, especially couscous and pastries. Mohamed feels lucky to
have such great friends who make his life more colorful and fun.
My Body
I woke up and stretched my arms. I got out of bed and rubbed my eyes. I walked to the bathroom and looked
in the mirror. I saw my face, my nose, and my eyes. I smiled and said, "Good morning, face!" I brushed my
teeth, and then I took a shower. I washed my hair, my face, my arms, and my legs. I dried off and got
dressed. I put on my shirt, my pants, and my shoes. I walked outside and took a deep breath. I felt my chest
move up and down as I breathed. I started to run, and I felt my legs moving fast. I reached up and touched
my head. I felt my hair blowing in the wind. I ran to the park and played with my friends. We kicked a ball
with our feet, and we used our hands to catch it. I looked at my hands and saw my fingers and my palms. I
waved to my friends and said, "Goodbye!" Then I walked back home and got ready for bed. I lay down and
closed my eyes. I felt my heart beating and my stomach moving as I breathed. I whispered, "Goodnight,
body. Thank you for a great day."
My pets
I have three pets: a cat, a dog, and a hamster. My cat's name is Mittens and she's black and white. She loves
to curl up on my lap and purr. My dog's name is Max and he's a golden retriever. He's always wagging his
tail and loves to play fetch. My hamster's name is Speedy and he's really fast. He loves to run on his wheel
and eat sunflower seeds.
My Algerian Food.
I love Algerian food! We eat three meals a day. Breakfast is in the morning. I usually have khobz, which is
bread, with jam and tea. Lunch is in the afternoon. We might have couscous, a delicious stew, or a sandwich
with fries. Dinner is in the evening. Sometimes we have shakshuka, a dish with eggs and tomatoes, or tajine,
a meat and vegetable stew. Algerian food is so yummy!
My Clothes:
I have many clothes in my closet. I have a red shirt, a blue skirt, and green pants. I also have a yellow dress
that I wear on special occasions. My favorite shirt is my white t-shirt, and I wear it often. I have a pair of
black shoes that I wear with most of my outfits, and a brown belt that matches my brown boots. My clothes
are made of different materials, like cotton, silk, and denim. I like to wear bright colors because they make
me feel happy.
My Algerian City:
I live in a city called Oran. It's a beautiful place with many different areas to explore. My favorite place is
the beach. I love going there with my family to play in the sand and swim in the sea. Another place I like is
the park. I go there with my friends to play football and have picnics. Oran also has a big market where you
can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and clothes. I love walking around the market and trying new foods.
Overall, I think Oran is a wonderful city with lots of things to see and do.
My Hobbies and Favorite Things:
I have many hobbies and things that I enjoy doing in my free time. One of my favorite hobbies is playing
soccer. I love the feeling of running around on the field and trying to score goals. Another thing I enjoy is
reading books, especially mystery and adventure stories. It's like I'm transported to a different world when I
read. I also like listening to music and dancing. When I hear a good beat, I just can't help but move my body.
My favorite type of music is pop, and my favorite singer is a local artist named Warda. When it comes to
food, I really love pizza. It's so delicious with all the different toppings and melted cheese. Overall, these are
just a few of my hobbies and favorite things that make me happy.
