2.0Commencement: The meeting commenced at exactly 1;10pm with Opening
Hymn (I.O.M 94), followed by opening prayer by led by Revd J.A.S. Adaramola.
2.1Exhortation: The Chairman took the word of exaltation from I Cor.13:1-3 and
titled it ‘Love’. According to him, if we don’t have love among ourselves, we can’t
have access to God’s abundant grace, for God Himself is Love. He encouraged us to
be united, invite the true love of God and practice it in our midst.
3.0 Chairman’s Opening Remark: The Chairman welcomed the members to the
first meeting he is holding with the Committee as the new Priest-in-Charge. He
prayed that God Almighty will be with us as we labour together in His Vineyard.
4.0Matters for Discussion
4.1 Harvest: The Chairman, Harvest Committee was not around to give
update on the level of preparation. However, the previous decision of the
Committee as regards the harvest is still in force.
4.2 Assessment: The Church has not been able to pay the Diocesan and
Archdeaconry Assessment.
4.3 Ceremonies: The Chairman informed members that the family of Mr.
G.M. Sokunbi will be having the solemnization of holy matrimony of their
 daughter on October 15, 2020 and 80th Birthday thanksgiving of Mrs.
Esther Olubanjo is schedule to hold on November 28, 2020.
4.4 Revival Service: The Chairman informed members that we will be
holding revival service in our church every month end. The members
therefore welcome the idea stating that the Church is used to it during the
period of the past priest.
4.5 Youth: The Chairman raised a motion that the Youth should be
encouraged to participate and understand the church doctrines. The
Committee therefore agreed that the youth will be conducting services at
every last Sunday of the Month.
4.6 Financial Report: The Treasurer reported that the Church had the grand
income of #69,695 and expended the sum of #73,650. The Church therefore
had a deficit balance of #3,955 for the month of September, 2020. The
motion for the adoption of the report was moved by Pa Adeleke Lawal and
seconded by Mrs. H.B. Olubowale.
5.0 Any other Business
i. The Chairman demanded an explanation on how we intend to roof the
Children Chapel. The response was that the Church does not have
money now. It shall be attended to as soon as the Church is able.
6.0 Adjournment and Closing: The motion for adjournment of the meeting was
moved by Pa. S.B. Odutayo and seconded by Mrs. Felicia Olayiwola. The
meeting came to a close at exactly 1:35 pm with the closing prayer said by the
Chairman.
