Cloud DevOps Engineer Job Description
Overview
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between
development and operations. Your expertise will drive the implementation of efficient CI/CD
pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud management. If you thrive in a dynamic

Skills and Responsibilities
1. Technical Knowledge in CI/CD Domains:
○ Utilize tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Container
Orchestration, GKE, ELK, and Monitoring to enhance continuous integration
and continuous delivery processes.
○ Implement best practices for CI/CD workflows.
2. Linux Expertise:
○ Demonstrate a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with
various Linux distributions.
○ Proficiency in system administration tasks, including user access management,
volume management(LVM), upgrades, patches, backups, and restores.
○ Familiar with application deployment on various Linux distributions.
3. Networking Proficiency:
○ Possess a solid understanding of networking principles.
○ Ensure efficient communication between systems and services.
4. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
○ Build, deliver, and manage cloud IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
environments using Cloud platforms.
○ Optimize scalability, reliability, security, and efficiency.
5. Public Cloud Experience:
○ Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, with a preference for GCP.
○ Familiar with cloud services, resource provisioning, and cost optimization.
○ Manage and monitor cloud resources, ensuring high availability and
performance.
6. Orchestration Tools:
○ Proficiency in tools such as Kubernetes, Docker.
7. Self-Service Cloud PaaS:
○ Implement and maintain a self-service Public Cloud PaaS for development,
testing, and production environments.
8. Database Operations:
○ Familiarity with database administration with MySql, Postgresql.
Qualifications
● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
fields.
● Certifications: RHCE, GCP, AWS, or other relevant certifications.
● Experience: 2-3 years of work experience in enterprise technology.
Competencies:
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
