4. MERIT LIST GENERATION AND SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection of Candidates for admission to all the degree courses (Regular and Lateral Entry
admissions) will be based on the Merit Lists prepared by the CENTAC for each group of courses.
Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the Merit Score and Tie Break.

When more than one candidate has got the same marks in the common merit list (i.e., the merit list
prepared after merging the normalized marks of candidates from various Boards), the inter-se merit
among such candidates, for each course, will be determined in the order of priority as specified in the
