City’s Facebook post. I am a graduating student of MSU-IIT with the Bachelor’s Degree in
Elementary Education – Language Education and will be taking the Licensure Exam for
Professional Teachers this September 2024.
As a fresh graduate, my only firsthand experience in teaching is during my time as a
pre-service teacher at (LES) Luinab Elementary School, Iligan City, Philippines. My 2-month
internship at the said school has given me a deep passion for teaching and motivated me to
utilize my skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the lives of my future students.
I firmly believe that a good education has the power to transform lives and create positive
change in society, which is why I am dedicated to becoming a teacher.
During my stay at LES, I was able to teach English for grades 6 and 4 in an engaging
and comprehensible manner, ensuring that my students gained a deeper understanding of the
content. It was only a short period of time but I am confident that my experience taught me
lessons and teaching strategies that I can use as an ESL Tutor.
