• Group Policy is a feature of Windows that facilitates a wide variety of
advanced settings that network administrators can use to control the
working environment of users and computer accounts in Active
Directory.
• For example, a Group Policy can be used to:
• Enforce a password complexity policy that prevents users from choosing an
overly simple password.
• Computer Configurations apply for all users use this PC (need restart)
• User Configurations Apply per user (need logout and login) or gpupdate
