Questions and answers: -
1. What is MATLAB/Simulink software and why do we use it?
MATLAB is a mathematical software package that are used for analyzing and solving
mathematical problems and Simulink is a MATLAB based graphical programming environment
for modeling, simulating and analyzing multi-domain dynamical systems.
MATLAB/Simulink is used for enabling to incorporate MATLAB algorithms into models and
export simulation results to MATLAB for further analysis.
2. Why we used the powergui block in MATLAB/Simulink?
The powergui block are used to simulate power systems and power electronics in
MATLAB/Simulink.
Conclusions: -
After completing this LAB we got a knowledge to simulate the RLC circuit in the
MATLAB/Simulink environment and to observe the waveforms across the load voltage, power,
and current flow through the circuit.
