Little Red Riding Hood
Narrator : Once upon a time there was a dear little girl who lived in a village near the forest
with her mother. One day her grandma gave her a beautiful red riding clock, which she wore
every time when she went outside, and so everyone in the village always called Little Red
Riding Hood. One day…
Mother : Come here, Little Red Riding Hood. Your grandma is very sick. I want you to go to
her house and take her this basket of food
LRRH : Yes mother, I would love to see grandma
Narrator : She put on her red cloak, and she pulled up her red hood, and she took the basket
of food into the forest
Mother : Remember, don’t talk to any strangers along the way!
LRRH : I won’t!
Narrator : Little Red Riding Hood promised, and she skipped down the path and into the
woods. Little Red Riding Hood didn’t have to worry about getting lost in the forest, because
she knew the way to Grandma’s house very well. But along the way, she saw some beautiful
flowers in the forest.
LRRH : Oh, what a beautiful flowers! I bet grandma would really like these
Narrator : she stopped and left the basket on the ground to pick up some flowers
Wolf : Hello there, little girl
LRRH : Hello Mr. Wolf
Narrator : She didn’t know the wolf was bad, she had already forgotten her mother’s words
about talking to strangers.
Wolf : Where are you going on this fine day?
LRRH : I’m going to my grandma’s house. She isn’t feeling well and I’m bringing her this
basket of food and these flowers
Wolf : What a sweet girl you are…
Narrator : He smiled and showed off his mouthful of sharp teeth. The Big Bad Wolf was quite
hungry, but he wasn’t interested in the basket of food.
Wolf : and does your grandma live far from here, Little Red Riding Hood?
LRRH : Oh no Mr. Wolf, she lives just across the forest in the first little house in the village,
the one with the white door. I had better be going, goodbye Mr. Wolf!
Narrator : She skipped off the path. The Big Bad Wolf’s stomach grumbled and growled with
hunger, and suddenly he had an idea. As quick as he could, he ran through the forest, all the
way to Grandma’s house.
Grandma : Who’s there?
Wolf : It’s me grandma, Little Red Riding Hood, and I bought you a basket of food.
Grandma : Come in my little grand daughter.
Narrator : As soon as the wolf entered he gobbled up Little Red Riding Hood’s Grandma.
Then he put on a nightgown, jumped into bed and waited for the little girl. A few minutes
later Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandma’s house. She knocked at the door
Wolf : Who’s there?
LRRH : It’s me, your granddaughter, Little Red Riding Hood. I came to bring you a basket
of food.
Wolf : Come in
LRRH : Hello grandma, mother told me you weren’t feeling well, so I brought you some food
and some flowers.
Wolf : What a sweet girl you are, closer, my dear
Narrator : Little Red Riding Hood took a step closer, and she noticed that something looked a
little different about grandma
LRRH : Oh My! What big eyes you have, grandma!
Wolf : All the better to see you with! Come closer, my dear
Narrator : Little Red Riding Hood took another step closer
LRRH : Oh My! What big ears you have, grandma!
Wolf : All the better to hear you with! Come closer, my dear
Narrator : Little Red Riding Hood took one more step closer
LRRH : Oh My! What big teeth you have, grandma!
Wolf : ALL THE BETTER TO EAT YOU WITH!!
Narrator : He jumped out of the bed and he opened his great big mouth. Little Red Riding
Hood shrieked and tried to run, but the hungry wolf grabbed her up and swallowed Little Red
Riding Hood in just one GULP! Then the wolf fellasleep.
Meanwhile a woodsman was passing grandma’s house, when he saw the door opend. He
entered, looked for the old lady and then he saw the wolf
Woodsman : Oh! The wolf is sleeping! And he’s so fat! I hope I’m on time !
Narrator : then, he took the wolf by the neck and made him spit out the poor grandma and
Little Red Riding Hood who were still in one piece. Then the wolf ran for his life and was
never seen again. Little Red Riding Hood learned her lesson, and she never, ever talked to
strangers again after that
