EXAMINER: WHICH ONE DO YOU WANT TO CHOOSE?
(B) THERE IS NO GOOD DEFINITION OF WHATTHE LIMITS TO FREE SPEECH ARE
TALK ABOUT THIS TOPIC
Freedom of speech does not give you the right to be rude. There are no definite limitations to free
speech, but we need to limit ourselves. When systems are unregulated, everything is chaotic. Free
speech might make us think that we are indeed free, but sometimes it imprisons us.
The constitutional ruling that there should be no law passed to abridge the freedom of expression is
dangerous. It can be poison when in the hands of the wrong person. People enjoy freedom so much, that
they forget responsibility and consequences.
If the governments don't have definite limitations to free speech, we should initiate change. Sometimes,
the change will come from ourselves. Let’s start to be a little less insulting, especially on the internet. We
are all human beings and we feel things. That’s why it is an utmost necessity that we take care of each
other’s emotional well-being.
Freedom of speech is a positive thing because it keeps us from being under a dictatorship. What if too
much freedom could be the cause of our imprisonment? We should ponder on these ideas, that we are
free. That is the reason to do everything in our power to stay free, but not harmful to others.
