LED HMI specification

FOR EMTB.

Our internal model: KD76E

1. HMI looks

Rendering pictures. *The final visual effect is subject to the actual item.

Bluetooth indicator LED is RESERVED for future projects

In our current projects, we do not need this function battery icon from molding,
black highlighted in reality

Crivit logo branding from molding

2. LED indicator

5 turquoise LEDs for Batt SOC

L shape is for different modes

i. SOC
1. SOC is always shown in turquoise color
2. At start up, SOC runs from left, LED1 to right, LED5 and then jumps to the actual SOC.
3. SOC runs from right, LED5 to left, LED1 when SOC drops.
4. SOC behavior
a. 0% -4% LED 1 lit, brightness fades, no flashes but will give fast flashes @2
hertz, i.e. 250ms led lit, 250ms led out for 3 sec each time ON/OFF button is
pushed. Pressing +/- button will not flash.
b. 5%-10%, LED 1 lit,normal brightness, with slow flashes @0.5 hertz, i.e. 1s
led lit, 1s led out,
c. 11%-25%, LED 2 lit, normal brightness
d. 26%-50%, LED 3 lit, normal brightness
e. 51%-75%, LED 4 lit,normal brightness
f. 76%-100%, LED 5 lit,normal brightness
ii. SUPPORT MODE, the L shape is for different modes
1. Support mode after each start up is ZERO white
2. Then the user will switch the modes up and down SEE BUTTONS
3. MODES are
a. ZERO white = no motor support
b. ECO green= long range low Amp mode
c. TOUR blue = medium support
d. SPORT purple = max continuous support
e. BOOST red = max peak support for up to 20 seconds,
i. + button needs to be continuously pressed,
ii. will start after 2 seconds + button presses,
iii. will eventually be blocked by temperature protection depending on load
iv. release the + button in less than 20s or keep pressing more than 20s,
both cases will get back to previous mode
f. BOOST MODE CAN BE ACCESSED FROM ALL MODES Including ZERO MODE

iii. ERROR CODES

Err code is indicated by the

1st and 2nd SoC LEDs. 1st
Abnormal motor hall SoC LED represents the tens

represent the ones digit. See

3. Buttons:

Minus / walk-assist

Plus / Boost

ON/OFF

a. All buttons are in black color.

b. The +/- button is a rocker switch type push-button to prevent the user from pressing the 2 buttons
simultaneously
c. Marking
i. “-“ (Minus)/ “walk-assist” logo, by molding, without print
ii. “+” (Plus)/ “boost” logo, by molding, without print
iii. on/off symbol , by molding, without print
d. Functionality
i. - button only switches down one step per one click, when at zero mode no further function
ii. + button only switches up one step per one click, when at SPORT mode no further function
iii. + button, LONG PRESS (2 seconds) will switch Esystem into BOOST mode, button needs to be
continuously pressed, SEE SUPPORT MODE
iv. - button, keep holding, after 2 seconds, the bike will be activated to go at a uniform speed of 6
Km/h, WALK ASSIST MODE. We can pass the certificate with the walk assist

4. Communication protocol: Mivice CAN protocol.

5. Others
1) When bike is on, the bike lights are “always-on”.
2) Need light sensor function to adjust the brightness for the LED. Light sensor position is in below picture .

Light sensor position

3) Auto off time: 5 mins

4) KEY-IN solution: yes
5) HMI cable length: EMTB, 800mm;
