Soil acidification protector

Shreeansh Pandab.
Std-VII,(A) Roll No.34.
Problem-1
Sulfuric and nitric acid solutions cause
rainwater to become overly acidic. Acid
rain decreases the pH of the soil,
causing its acidity to increase, which
decreases the level of important
nutrients found in the soil. This process
can negatively affect the nutrition and
overall growth of crops.
effects
Nutrient Availability:
Acidic soils often have reduced
availability of essential nutrients such
as phosphorus, calcium, magnesium,
and potassium. This can lead to
nutrient deficiencies in plants,
hindering their growth and
development.
Aluminum Toxicity:
Acidic soils can release
toxic levels of aluminum,
which inhibits root growth
and reduces nutrient
uptake by plants.
Aluminum toxicity is
particularly harmful to
sensitive crops like wheat,
barley, and corn.
Microbial Activity:
Soil acidity can affect the activity
and diversity of soil
microorganisms, such as bacteria
and fungi, which play essential
roles in nutrient cycling, soil
structure formation, and disease
suppression. Acidic conditions
can inhibit the activity of
beneficial microbes, leading to
decreased soil fertility and crop
productivity
pH-dependent
Processes:
Soil pH influences various biochemical
and physiological processes in plants,
including nutrient uptake, enzyme
activity, and hormone regulation. Acidic
soils can disrupt these processes, leading
to stunted growth, nutrient deficiencies,
and increased susceptibility to pests and
diseases.
Crop Suitability:
Different crops have varying
tolerance to soil acidity. Some crops,
like blueberries and rhododendrons,
prefer acidic soils, while others, such
as alfalfa and most vegetables,
prefer neutral to slightly alkaline
soils. Soil acidification can limit the
range of crops that can be grown
successfully in affected areas,
reducing crop diversity and economic
viability.
solution
Here comes soil acidification
protecter ,it will first be
collected and brought towards
the machine through insulated
pipe and will be collected on
the machine .now , it will be
broken down into simple
components
Then the sulfur or phosphate
Will be go to the soil and h20
will be collected .then these
water will be used in irrigation.
Throgh these we can also process
the factory waste dissolved in
water which is acidic and
other acidic nutrient
benefits
 The process of irrigation is
encouraged .
 The factory waste is utilized as
nutrients
 The effects of acid rain is
ovecomed.
 Production o f crops is increased
 Soil acidification is overcomed .
